Completely overwhelmed. KGO, Riva or Echo?

Hi everyone! New vaper here. I've been obsessively reading and searching in this forum for almost a week trying to decide on my next PV and have narrowed it down to an Ego type, but there are so many ego style models getting rave reviews (with new models being released seemingly every day!) that I'm getting more and more overwhelmed trying to decide between them. I was hoping you guys could help me zoom in on the best choice for me.

I'm currently using a Joye 510. I use the 510 with Boge standard resistance cartomizers and aluminum drip tips that make it easy to top off the cartos. My favorite liquids are rather thick -- most of them are at least 60% VG. I have tried various nicotine strengths but seem to have settled in at 12mg. nicotine for all day vaping.

I'm very happy with the taste, vapor and TH of my current setup. I also really like the small, slim size of the 510. However, constantly swapping out batteries and topping off cartomizers is driving me nuts, so I'm looking to upgrade to a model with an 1100 or 1300 battery that will get me through the whole day. The Riva 1100, KGO and Echo are the 3 models I've narrowed it down to, but I can't decide which would be best. Here are the things that are important to me:

1. Quality of the vape. I'm looking for big flavor, lots of vapor, and a reasonable but not-too-harsh TH -- in that order of preference.
2. Consistency/Reliability. I would like a model that is reliable and tends to vape the same way hit after hit, day after day, and that is of a high enough quality that I'm not constantly having problems with it.
3. Versatility. Something that would allow me to swap between dripping and using cartos AND tanks, if possible. I would probably drip all the time if it weren't so inconvenient, so the tank models intrigue me, but I've been kind of scared away from them because of so many reports of leaking. Still, it would be nice to be able to try tanks or tankomizers to see how I liked them.
4. Carto or tank capacity: I would really prefer something with a large enough capacity that I could refill it in the morning and be done with it. (Currently, it takes about 3 of the SR Boge cartos to get me through a whole day.)

So...in your opinion, given my preferences, what's the state of the art ego-style model I should be looking for? Are there significant enough differences between these models that I'll regret my purchase down the line if I don't choose the right one, or am I pretty much going to be happy with any of them?

I would be grateful for any opinions. Thanks for reading!

After almost a year, all I can do is tell you what works for me:

1) Ego 510 XL 1000 mah battery from puresmoker.com. I can't seem to find the 1000 mah anywhere else. I've tried the 650s, 900s and 1100 mah batteries from various vendors and the ones from puresmoker just last. I think I still have my original from 6+ months ago. I am a chronic vapor. I get about 5-6 hours out of a battery. I use three batteries in rotation so I always have a spare ready to go. Make sure you get a charger to support the bigger battery. I have found the USB cable for a wall charger from litecig far superior to the one that comes with a puresmoker charger. Maybe order the whole wall charger and cable from litecig?

2) Dual coil cartomizers. Greatest thing since sliced bread IMHO. I did the SR and LR cartos and the DCs leave them in the dust. Good TH and vapor and they don't burn and become useless if you run them dry. I run through about 4 of those a day but I vape constantly from my early morning coffee until when I close my eyes at night.

For me, it's all simple and easy. I don't have to fool around much with hardware during the day, just vape my head off.

Good luck.

The 1000mah eGo batt will give you a constant 3.4v vape and is good (for me) with Boge 2.0 LR cartos. The 1100mah eGo batt is a 3.7v batt that loses voltage as you vape and cuts off at 3.2v (same as the 1000mah eGo batt). I find the 3.7v vape a little on the hot side with LR cartos, but that's just a preference. I also prefer the regulated, constant vape I get from the 1000mah batts.

I was you about a month ago ;)
All I can say is I decided on a kgo and absolutely LOVE it. I can use the emddc's (awesome!) which fits perfectly and just feels good in the hand, or a smoktech dc tank and not have to top off all day. I've honestly not read a single comment here or anywhere else by a kgo owner (a lot of mod users actually prefer them) that had anything but good things to say. Price is right too. :2c:

Thanks Boston. The KGO is actually the one I'm leaning toward. In fact, I probably would already have purchased one but am having trouble finding a supplier. I've seen lots of great recommendations in KGO threads for Hoosier e-cig supply, which seems to be the most popular place to get them, but they put their red logo on the KGO's they sell and I would prefer not to have any logos on mine. Do you know of other suppliers who sell the KGO?

Hey Glassmelter try Dark City Vapors He has a awesome price, fast shipping, and a awesome dude to boot. He has the red KGO's in stock and I also think he has a carto option for the Kit.

so you saying i shouldn't expect anything different from the cheapo 3.7 custom mod box that's sitting at my door right now?

I'm a little confused about your statement. The 1100 batt loses voltage from a 3.7 starting point, and the 1000's voltage stays constant, correct? When you said "same as the 1000mah eGo", I thought you were saying the 1100 and 1000 act the same (slowly lose voltage).
