Concern on the Blue Foam Mod

The only blue foam mod by marineland I have been able to find has been labeled that it has an active carbon layer in between the blue foam. I can't find it without. Are you suppose to use the blue foam with the carbon? It doesn't seem safe. Any thoughts or concerns on it? What should I use instead.

You want the MarineLand Rite-Size "U" Bonded Foam Sleeve - no carbon in that.

Size U or pyramid tea bags...I wouldnt use anything else

You want Fluval Water Polishing Pad. It's white sheets in a fairly large blue box with a yellow "6" on it. Google it at Petco or PetSmart.
You get the best results by pulling apart the sheets so they are thinner. Cut to just a bit larger than your cart and trim what sticks out of the top of the cart. I just filled three carts with Fluval today and each one took 12-15 drops. Takes some practice. No leaking problems in my eGo.

strictlyejuice sell little cut up squares of it - a bag for a dollar or something - its the right stuff. I got some way back when my local pet shop kept 'mysteriously selling out' of it lol
