Concerning 'ohms too low'

Hello to you all. So I own a smok Erato 230 and I use the smok TFV18 coil. This didn't happen before but now it shows on the screen "ohms too low." I did some research and found out that it is because the resistance is too low.
I noticed that the flavour and intensity of the liquid is less, for instance using at around 110-115 ml, the coil was fine and didn't need changing whereas now that happens much earlier. The coil doesn't last like it did before.
Is that because of this "ohms too low?"
In any case, I am going to get a better coil from a store that lasts 120ml easily, I will also change the top part of the e cigarette that has the coil (not sure what it is called).
If I do that, with this "ohms too low" problem go away? Thanks in advance.

Is the resistance of the coil you're using now the same resistance as your previous coils? What is the resistance of the coil and what wattage are you using?
Hi, how do I do the resistance of the coil, how do I determine that? I always use 85 wats which is slightly below what is recommended on the coil itself.

The tvf18 coils come in 0.15 ohms and 0.33 ohms and the resistance is written on the coil itself. The Erato SHOULD be able to handle both, but it is a Smok product and they dont usually have the best quality control. It could be a defective coil or the unit itself can't handle a lower ohms like the 0.15. I dont see a need to replace your RTA as I doubt that is the problem. Keep in mind that a lower resistance coil will go through juice faster, which is the price you pay for the increased amount of clouds with a lower resistance coil. If the coil you are using now is the 0.15, try switching to a 0.33. If that doesn't fix your error message then the chipset in the unit itself is bad which is not a replaceable part. Although the Smok rtas and the TVF coils are pretty good, Smok mods are, as a whole, are terrible. I went through 3 Smok Mag 220s in about 18 months before I learned this. Although I still use the Prince tvf12 tank that came with my unit, I quit buying Smok mods. I prefer the Vaporesso Gen series. My first Gen is probably about 5 years old and still going strong.

Hi there. I think that was the problem because all this time I was taking a coil that never had that problem, I probably got a different kind of coil. In any case, I am going to buy another top part of the e cigarette (don't know what its called) as well as a new coil that will last 120 ml for sure, like the guy said at the store. I trust that in doing so, I will not have this problem again and the coil will last 120 or slightly lower ml.
