I know when you fill a carto by drops you need to let it rest and absorb. I fill cartos using the condom method so does the same rule apply or can I use it right away?

I usually let it set in the cap for a few minutes to let it soak whatever it can up. Then remove the cap, blow the excess out, wipe the threads off and it's ready to go.

I find on the first fill especially it takes a little longer to soak in but after the fillers already been wet it doesn't take as long.

I let them rest a few minutes and then try to add more.

I also found this the least messy of all the methods. I like to let them set for a few mins, blow out the tube, wipe the threads good, use a q-tip on the connection hole on the PV, put it back on and vape till empty, rinse and repeat.

With the condom method then this rule doesn't really apply. Since your getting everything soaked fairly quickly and the juice even travels through the air tube to get the coil and "diaper" saturated as well. Which is the most important part since the diaper is the first thing that gets burnt.

As with what others have said, it would be a good idea to let it sit for a few minutes. So, that access juice can drip out of there and you can put that back in the bottle or toss it away.

If you are filling for the first time I would say give it a moment to settle...if you are refilling then not really but its always good to make sure the carto isn't dripping.

I burnt a Carto recently because I slammed the carto down the condom too quickly. Got the top nice a soaked...and the bottom I guess wasnt so much.

I find if I SLOWLY push the cart down, until the juice just starts to peak above the hole at the top, then wait for it to go down, push down a little more until it peaks...wait.... rinse repeat... I get a NICE saturated Carto that vapes immediately.

As other's have said... it's best to let it sit for a few. I typically drip about 30 drops in to fill a fresh carto. Once that soaks up (usually a couple of minutes) I remove the carto from the cap, drop another 12-15 drops in, and push the carto in once more. This usually gets it nice and full and I can vape for a 1.5 hours usally before I need to fill again.

I've tred drippng around the edges (takes too long and is messy IMHO). I hat having to drip after every 10-15 minutes using an atty so the carto and condom method has been my sweet spot. I generally get the best rusults using clear thinner juices. YMMV.

Filling with a syringe is def the easiest and quickest way to fill a carto and I'm sorry lace dolphin, but there's no way that the condom method is less messy than using a syringe. I'm not saying the condom method is bad, bc it's def better and easier than drip filling, but the condom method really only works well with regular size carto. A syringe takes all the guesswork out of filling and ensures they are filled correctly whether it's a regular size carto, an XL carto, or even something like an eGo or Epower mega dual coil which hold upwards of 5-6ml of juice.
I know everyone has their own method that they like, but using a syringe is by far the fastest way to fill a carto and basically eliminates the chance of burning a carto bc you didn't put enough juice in or waiting enough for the juice to settle
