Cone doesn't fit? and other issues

I wanted to try an ego as I am tired of charging my k808d-1 over and over.

I ordered the following items from litecig:


•1 of : 5 ml eliquid syringe
•1 of : Joye EGO MEGA Atomizer - Stainless Steel
•1 of : Joye EGO Atomizer Cover/Cone - Matte Black
•1 of : Joye EGO MEGA Manual Switch Battery - Matte Black
•1 of : Joye EGO MEGA Blank Cartridges
•1 of : Joye EGO Rapid USB Charger


The cone does not seem to fit over the atomizer and cartidge. Am I just a noob or did I order the wrong thing? Is there different size cones?

My second question is, how will I switch flavors? I've never used a cartridge before. I tried to pull one out and switch, but the juice runs all down the sides of the cartridge. Even with a cap on I think it will make a mess. Is the juice supposed to run down the sides like that or did I fill it too much? How many drops or ml go in a Mega cartiridge anyway?

Third question is, how do I tell when the battery is charged fully? I see a red light, which I assume means it is charging.

The cone is not for the megas. It is to cover a regular 510 atty to give the unit a sleeker look.

You shouldn't have too much liquid spilling from the cartridge - but the megas are a little messy compared to a standard 510, but it does sound like you are probably over filling. Keep the rubber cap from the cartridge in your kit and cover the end when you pull it out of the atty. Wipe the whole thing off with a napkin or paper towel before putting it back wherever you are keeping it.

Switching flavors - the mega attys hold a ton of juice inside them by design. You will want to blow out the atty (from the battery side) when you switch flavors.

When the red light turns to green (and stays green) on the charger, your battery is charged.

Hmm, I just tried to take the cartridge back out after smoking it a while and all the filler stayed connected to the atomizer while the plastic outside of the cartridge came off. Is it broken? Can I fix it?

Did the filler melt? If not, then just stuff it back in the cartridge. If it melted, throw it away and start fresh with a new cartridge. - I've never had that happen, but I can see how it could.

I tried some tweezers and stuffed it back in. It looks like a bit of it was tangled underneat the metal protrusion inside the atmomizer. I guess I should not turn the mouthpiece after it is in. It doesn't seem to work as well as the other cartridges but it works. Thanks.

I'm no expert, but it sounds like the filler fibers got stuck on the metal mesh inside the atomizer. Twisting the cart could have contributed to that.
