CONES or THREAD COVERS

I use the Flix Phoenix 510 bottom coil clear carts. They rock!

The reg cones do not fit over these carts to screw to the battery EGO type

Looking for suggestions to improve the look of my e-cig.

Any help would be appreciated...

The cone for my KGO fits both the Vision Nano and the Pheonix Reborn. Maybe its wider than the EGO? There isn't much clearance but it works fine. I do have other a handful of different adapters for tanks and large clearos but they don't look "finished" when used with the Pheonix.

googled it...no joy. Must be some kind of cute rename for a generic. Perhaps a type b ego cone...if such exists?

Also..how about a short cone that just covers the threads and only goes as far as the top of the 510 connector?

One of complaints has always been that the clearo's tubes are always slightly larger diameter than a standard carto because they need the extra thickness for strength vs the metal tubes...

One solution is to slightly sand down the top of the tube until the clearo fits properly... it's a simple solution that doesn't take much time.

A Type-A cone ... is the standard cone shape ... A Type-B cone isn't a cone shape at all but a straight sided cylinder so it would look odd on an XL sized carto or clearo

It wouldn't have helped you anyway unless the one you found took into account a plastic clearo to start with...

The XL part just means it is a longer tube than a standard, it has nothing to do with the diameter

kgo cones will work with them, but........make sure that it's the big bore cone, as they have two different ones. My first pv was a kgo with the big bore cone.

It isn't just the Phoenix clearos.... it's all clearo's that are like this because of the reason I stated earlier... the wall thickness requires more material or the tube would collapse too easily

oh zips pic reminds me
- for alpha folks -
the apollo tanks with the guts removed make a nifty 'cone' as well. the tank threads fit ego cone threads and you can use it over any regular size carto but im not sure the length - the phoenix catros would prolly stick out a little but it does work perfectly with the vision extreme regular size hey wait i dont see the vision regulars on the site anymore... not much at all in that catagory anymore huh guess they arnt too popular any more... guess i best keep my last couple put away for a just in case day
