Confused about "General Vaping Discussion"

With all due respect to the moderators and other members, I don't see how anyone can keep up with all the different sections. I mean, I've zeroed in on my favorites and I tend to check those quite a lot but there is a *lot* to this site. In my head, I kinda picture it as an out of control outline. . .

I think nvadasz has a good point though, when does something go from a thread to a social group or from a social group into its own sub section . . ? . . . .

I would venture to say it is better to be confused than confounded. I have seen a fair amount of threads moved to a more appropriate forum

If I ask a question, and want to go back for answers, I subscribe to the thread or go to my profile and click on my latest posts.

Even when threads are moved they're still visible and readily accessible from the "General' section. You might have to look through a few pages, but it's not like they've been condemned to a black hole.
This is, of course, just my answer to a 'General Vaping' question.

not really true. Otherwise we would have a whole bunch of moved forums.
The thread is accessible in the thread it was posted for 24 hours after its moved, but new posts in the thread do not impact its place where the redirect exists.
after 24 hours....it disappears forever from the original forum it was posted in, only accessible in the forum it was moved to.
