Confused at this outcome :/

strange to hear that you people are having problems with the switches, i knock on wood ,ive had the prodigy for oh maybe 4 months,its been flawless,i have both switches and all atty adaptors,and i must say flawless,cant wait for the prodigy v2 to come out,just based upon the quility of the prodigy v1,im going right in the preorder,sight unseen for the v2

K9frog... I'll be there in the preorder line with you. As much as I use my Prodigy (that would be constantly), it's probably a wonder it worked flawlessly as long as it did with NO meddling whatsoever, not even taking it apart to clean the out-of-the-way contacts.

It's still a bit on-off, and I did manage to order another switch when they came back in stock and will drop that in to see if it's a fix. I really cannot, and would not, complain about the quality of anything I've ever gotten from Puresmoker. So, yeah, I'm poised to nab that V2, sight unseen as you said, as soon as it shows up, because there's just no question it'll be great.

Buy a soldering iron, some solder, order some tact switches... rub some noalox on the threads if it's a Prodigy (aluminum) and replace switch as needed...
This is NOT a rare occurance, I've fixed 6 of these devices for other users already.
