confused.... help please with correct charger

Hi,

I've read that the AW lifepo4 3.2v 500 mah batteries can be charged with the Ultrafire WF 138 switching charger, yet I just saw this

which states that this is NOT the best charger for these batteries.....

should I use the WF-188 rapid charger instead?

AW said in this thread on CPFMarketplace (it's the guy in charge of AW that posts) that the WF 138 is OK to use, the selector should be set to 3.0v - see here NEW R123 with safe chemistry

These batteries actually charge at 3.6v (while lithium ion batteries other than LiFePO4 charge at 4.2v) so it causes some confusion. Bit more info about this in this previous response - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ask-veterans/146224-aw-lifepo4-3-volt-charger-question.html

The WF-188 is obviously more flexible as it can take all sizes from CR2 to 26650, something to consider if you intend to ever use sizes other than CR123.
