Loved your post! I'm new to
vaping myself, so I don't know how valuable my advice will really be, but I thought I'd add a few thoughts here.
Not to pry, but just to address an issue that you mentioned, I noticed that you said you are not currently paying for your cigs. To which, I'll just say, that overall,
vaping is MUCH less expensive than smoking in the long-run, and depending on how complex a system you want to get started with, savings may be realized right away.
I began my
vaping with the intention of using it as a smoking cessation devise (and I already have almost no desire to smoke), but I'm really enjoying vaping and after my reasons for stopping smoking are realized (trying to have a baby), I may actually come back to vaping at least occassionally. I really love that it leaves no lingering smells/chemicals around. Because I was using it as a method to "quit," I purchased the most economical unit that I could easily find in the store. Around $20 for a Cig2O and two cartomizers.
With a little research, you can definitely get the most even out of the more economical units such as these. I'm already learning how to identify other cartomizers that fit so that I can get even more savings. Because I'm wanting to go ahead and kick the habit, right now, I'm not going to get into re-filling and the things that could save me even more money, but I'm finding that I can get pricing that's pretty equivalent to about $2 for about a "pack" worth.
And if you're not getting into mixing fluids and just using the knowledge of what type you have and how to refill it, it can be as simple as just screwing off the old "tip" and screwing on a new one when you're out. A manual PV may be better quality, but with the auto PVs, you're ready to just puff and go.
It's not the same as smoking, that's for certain, but it can be even more enjoyable.
