Not everyone geeks out when they have to do math. Remember, vapers are former smokers. Most are use to just lighting up a cig and going on with their life ... no math needed.

You can't assume everyone will either understand or care to understand everything there is to know about ohms law and safety. Just because they may feel that way doesn't make them lazy, stupid, or beneath those who feel contrary. Starting slow and gaining basic knowledge first is often the path taken, and it has worked for many people ... if not the majority.

Your argument comes off a tad bit pretentious.
I think it's fine if people don't want to spend the time to learn, but if you don't want to do math or learn anything don't buy a bunch of wires and try to build an electronic vaporizer. Unless you're an idiot, in which case plz do. I have some old car batteries that would work great!

You got the MVP, honestly, its a good piece. One of the best things about it is that it will get you used to the box mod.... Then all you need to learn is squonking and building micros for your end all mod combo. You cannot kill a Reo/RM2 setup. Check the Reo Lounge.

As for Ohms law and coil building, its basic elementary school math. For those who can't figureit out, Vapers Toolbox is an invaluable tool that iis available on the Android market.

I think the point he was trying to make is that it is often not the greatest idea to recommend a rebuildable out of the gate due to the larger learning curve. When most people first start vaping ... they get confused by the terms, cartomizer, atomizer, and clearomizer ... much less things like resistance, amp draw, and voltage drop.

And granted, it REALLY does come down to the person you are talking to. Some people have the eagerness and proper motivation to jump right into things quicker. A quick learner could probably spend a day or two on youtube and pretty much catch up to what most of us talk about on a site like ECF ... including knowing how to build an atty correctly.

But in general, I agree it is best not to overwhelm a newcomer. The worst thing that you could do is feed them so much information that they become discouraged enough to say ... "Screw it, I need a cig" lol
