Confused : Sigelei 75w heat control mod and a Kangertech subtank plus

I'm a bit confused about something. I use a sigelei 75w heat control mod and a Kangertech subtank plus. I'm using the pre made coils as I don't feel comfortable enough and don't really want to bother with the diy. The ones I'm using are the Kanger OCC Nickel Coil 0.15ohm heads. Yet whenever I put a new head in, and set the resistance it says the resistance is higher. It can be anywhere from .26 to .32 +/- on either end. Why, if they're supposed to be .15 would it read higher. Am I doing something wrong? If I were to build my own, would it be the same way?

Thanks in advance,

Hi ya' Sissy...

If your mod, atty and head were all perfectly clean, flat, firm and flush electrically conductive mating surfaces...
and both the chipset and replacement coil head were individually built and calibrated with costly, precision test equipment at time of manufacture, to exacting standards...
and the mod cost 3-4 times as much as the $60 or so you paid for it...
and if being off by a whopping 17 one-hundredths of an ohm actually was a critical issue with a regulated mod, where you can add and subtract wattage at will rather than be constrained by Ohm's law values...

I'd worry. ;)

I apologize... your post kinda hit me funny. If you had an electrical engineering background... you'd know that your concerns are misplaced. If you still want to know "for sure - for sure"... buy a quality, known level of accuracy, USA Ohm meter build box. Then, if something doesn't match... you'll know what it is.
