Confused

I got my sampler pack today and I'm a bit confused so far. I did a quick vape of them all in my atomizer just to get a quick idea about what I got, so I can't really base much on that. Right now I'm focusing on the Menthol Ice. I put it in my atomizer and wasn't really impressed so I decided to juice it up in a Boge 2.0 LR Carto. Of course the carto helped, but I'm not getting much from it like the reviews raved about. I'm not getting the menthol coolness, TH (24mg), or any flavor really. :\ Is there a trick I'm missing? I'm using the Boge with my ego-t battery if that sheds light on anything.

Hmmm not sure, but I did try them in other cartos and even in 3 piece atty mini and by far the best flavor and TH was with Halo cartos. Maybe it is their different coil at bottom?? I am not familiar with what you are using tho, I have tried many minis 3 piece and only a couple 2 piece with cartos and Halo is my fave set up with Halo flavors. bnrk

I'm not sure either. You would think a 510 compatible cartomizer would be pretty much the same across the board. I'm starting to wonder if I'm finding a lack of flavor due to using the standard 3.7 volt batteries. I keep seeing posts about juices coming alive at 4.2-4.5v or more. I'm not sure how to reach that level unless I get a variable voltage passthrough or a provari or evolv darwin. That last two are outside of my current budget though.

Is your carto one with the heat element vertical? I find a different taste with those than the horizontal coil used by Halo. I think they give a different flavor. I have not used my vertical heat element cartos since i got Halos coiled ones at bottom. I just like them so much better. bnrk

I'm sure it's vertical. I've only seen the Kanger Horizontal Coil Cartomizer for 510/eGo and it seems like they are either expensive or ship from China.

That could be giving you a different flavor. The cartos I have that are vertical give me a more mellow taste with Halo e liquid, not as strong as the coiled bottom cartos. I have only used Halo's that have the bottom coil. I seem to get more taste, more TH and more vapor from Halos cartos. They also have an easier drag than the other cartos I have. They are called Diamond Series I think. I got them from healthy ecigs I think?? I would have to look them up as I forget off hand. I have been using Halo's now exclusively since I like them better bnrk

Make sure your Juice bottle sits in Room temp for a bit or even better put it in your pocket and shake it now and then. Halo's eliquids are developed under controlled temp and air conditions to keep the freshness. I notice if I let them steep a couple days the flavor really comes out.
