I have been vaping for about a year now and want a little more from it. My son in law builds his own and has huge vapor. Is there a way to get more vapor from a more simple method? Any suggestions on a battery/mod, what tank and what ohm's will produce the most vape? I currently have ego 900, a 1500 vv and a 2000 aro vv/vw batteries and usually use the mini pro tank 2 with a 1.5 coil. None of these give me the vape I am wanting.

I am guessing by your asking for a "simple method", you dont want to get into rebuildables.

Might I suggest a 30w to 50w mod, and using an aerotank turbo by kanger. The turbo uses 2 dual coils, so it gets a lot more vapor going. Dial up the wattage, to get some "warmth" going.

Those stick batteries you are using, just dont produce enough energy to get you where you think you need to be.

You could also ask your son in law, to build you a few coils to put in some RDA's, and all you would need to learn is to rewick.

Thank you so much for the reply's. Does anyone have any other suggestions as to coils. am I better with the lower 1.5 or should I go higher?

For coils, it really all depends on the atomizer you want to use. Like you, I used the ego style with a protank for a while and it was not doing it for me. I bought a Magneto mechanical mod and a Igo RDA. Read alot, watched a lot of youtube videos on coil building and now, nothing beats an RDA to me. I like the .8 to 1ohm coils, just my preference but I would talk to your SIL and try his device out. If you like it I am sure he can help you with the coils, not hard at all to build.

I was in the same boat, and after getting somewhat frustrated and reading alot and watching tonns of youtube videos, i ended up ordering some stuff. So I got myself an UD IGO-W Plus RDA, and started playing with different coil setups with my kanthal 28gauge wire wicked with cotton. Haven't found a perfect setup yet, but it blows all of my other clearomizer tanks out of the water. I also bought a mechanical mod, the smok magneto, along with an sigelei 30w vw mod.
So at the moment I am constantly tinkering with these things and trying to finally kicking analogs for good.

I found tanks to taste burnt/not wicking fast enough if i try to turn them up to produce more vapor. Which is why i went looking for rebuildables.

Thank you again for all off your feedback. I have been trying to figure all this stuff out like you watching youtube. I just ordered the vamo v5 but am thinking I should have ordered the v6 for the extra watts but lets see how it does. I am also going to order the micro-core-adc-ii-1-5-ohm-dual-coil with the air vents and adjustable coil... Im trying to get more vape the lazy way...Thanks again for all of the input.

For lazy, go mech mod - no worrying about the electronics and easier to fix if something doesn't work right. As for tanks, talk to people you see vaping big clouds. Most people are happy to talk about their setup.

I thought the same way you do and didn't want to get into some big "science project." But, a year and a half later, I'm starting to build my own coils and mix my own juices. I'm finding that's how to get what I want - big clouds and the taste I'm looking for. Just talk to people and do your research. Try things out, and keep it cheap in the beginning. You'll find what you like and don't. What's right for you isn't always what others like.
