Wow, thanks all! I really did not see three months as all that big of a mile marker, but maybe it is... I sometimes don't give myself enough credit for my accomplishments.

As far as saying it gets easier, to be honest, it hasn't been that difficult thanks to V4L and the FBG forum StevieG mentioned. The first few weeks were hard, but still no comparison to gums and patches. I HAD to quit. 2 1/2 to 3 PAD at $10 a pack was putting me in the poor house towards financial ruin. Just when I had no options other than a gun to my head, there was this thread in a fantasy football forum, FBG, or Football Guys.

I read about how people were using these gimmicky e cigs, but across the board, they were getting off tobacco. I decided I had nothing to lose, did some reading, and bought a V4L starter kit. 3 days after I got it, I went from 3 PAD to zero overnight, and never really looked back... OK, a few over the shoulder glances, but I was and am and will remain an ex-smoker.

I owe my success to that FBG thread and to V4L for that. When I say V4L, that includes all the folks here who have been so supportive. I could not have done it without all of you here.

The new job, while no dream job has been a godsend, but has kept me very busy. I just don't have as much time on the comp as I used to.

In rough numbers, I think we had about 45 to 50 people in that FBG forum go to e cigs, and all but 3 or 4 quit tobacco. I am all in on E Cigs. I hand out V4L cards all the time, a few a week. I want others to know quitting is possible, and easier than they ever dreamed it could be. Let's face it, other than the youngsters who picked up the addiction, the rest of us were hard core addicts that had tried everything else and failed.

vaping is our way out from under the big tobacco companies. This community can help those who still haven't heard about e cigs. I do my best to spread the word. Thanks again!
