Has anyone ever had an ohm meter push up the connection pins on their atty's to the point where mods can't detect them? I got my hands on two more kayfun clones yesterday. Another Tobeco Kayfun lite (got the first one two days before) and an hcigar 3.1. Also go the ohm meter yesterday. I've been using my MVP as an ohm reader before it. The first Kayfun I built was with the MVP and worked perfectly on both the MVP and my Provari Mini. Both the Kayfun clones I built last night however, using the ohm reader as my base, had connection issues with both mods.

For the Kayfun lite, I had to use a piece of a Protank gasket as a tiny oring to place around the connection pin so that it would hold down the block on the top of the atty, yet be extended enough to make a connection with a mod. That pin was somehow pushed so far up, it was indented, and everytime I unscrewed it a bit to get it back down, that block that holds the little screws on top became too loose. I don't know how it happened. I never had a problem with the first Kayfun Lite clone.

The hcigar 3.1 thankfully has an adjustable pin where I don't need to worry about anything on top of the atty coming loose in the adjusting. However, I need to unscrew it quite a bit in order to fire it on anything. It needs to be readjusted each time as well. I do have that little plastic gasket it's supposed to sit in, and it appears to be installed correctly. It does eventually work, but I'm sure that there's something wrong with it. It needs to come down so very far, even with the Provari. I expected issues with MVP.
