Hello everyone, Semi-newbie here. I bought an atomizer and a battery mod together but the connection on the battery mod is too wide. I dont know what the connection is, I do know the tank has a 510 connection. Can anyone help? Do I need a new battery mod or is there an adapter or somthing I can use?

Thanks
Jasper
Hi and welcome,
Please tell us specifically what you bought. Make/model/manufacture.
Where did you purchase the Atty and battery device?
Cheers

It is the SMOKTech TFV12 CBK and the Soomook FF91.
Both purchased from 3FVape.com.
The soomook mod is listed as having a 510. I suspect a bad mod.
Try to return the no name mod and pick up one of these.

Please use branded batteries from a trusted vendor. (NOT EBAY,Amazon)

I think you'll like that mod much better. Battery safety is a must, to me that's the most dangerous thing about vaping-- not ejuice, not nicotine, but subpar batteries causing problems (up to and including thermal venting) that can happen. A trusted vendor is a must. Man, so many equipment makers are supplying their own "branded" batteries now, I almost want to buy all of them and send them to Mooch for testing and review, LOL. I saw an aspire branded battery on another thread and I was like, 'Whhhaaat???"
