I know a venue Mermorial day till the end of August where I could sell 500 kits a week plus juice & parts. Only problem is I HAVE to work! Prior commitments have me stuck here for another 3 months to years ;]. I might take off Mermorial day weekend and see if I can put 500+ kits in my car, only prob is that I only have 22 days to get order in... And no one in the US has that many 901's .... If you do pm me!!!!!!!

YES!!
More suppliers reaching out to the 58 million smokers in the USA is as good a calling as being a doctor.
To find out if it's a good business idea for you, maybe you could email the stocked suppliers that are here on the forum & find out where & how they get their stuff, they might even be willing to supply you with a large quantity purchase with a small mark-up, because most likely they will get a quantity price break as well.

I just spent an hour talking to a guy named Jack in China about his product. Friday night, I work all day, I haven't made a single sale, and I've got a webcam session with Jack going on instead of movie night with the kids

WTF am I thinking?

Do you mean you just opened a business and haven't made a single sale? I'm cornfused.

What it takes??? From what I have seen on these boards... it takes a LOT of parience and putting up with jerks like us who complain about every stinkin thing lol! Imagine how you have been as a consumer and imagine all other people being 10X more difficult as customers. That is how it will be.

PS.. if you showed up at the meeting last night... you could have gotten some great advice from the guys at eliquidplanet.com. They are doing quite well.

I am thinking of becoming a supplier as well.

I owned a computer store a few years back and it was doing ok....i had to give it up because...i fell in love, got married and had a child.

when i was single and living at home my computer store supported me...then when everything happened...i had to give it up because i was not making enough.

if i were to sell e-cigs...i would sell locally...no online sales....and it would only be part time. i would consider selling them on saturdays at a local flea market. im just thinking about it.

Can't make a sale without opening first, just pulled the trigger yesterday and already wondering if I'm in over my head. Especially around this place where everyone is used to the creme de la creme of the industry.

I too was very seriously thinking about starting my own business. But with the Customs issues...wait, let's call it what it is....Customs Nightmares, I decided that at this point in time it's not worth the hassle. There is also the possibility that the FDA could ban these things any day now. Plus, like a supplier said, it's a 25 hour a day job. But if you decide to go for, I truly wish you the best of luck !!

As someone who is just starting I can say its rather nerve racking. Anyone who tells you there isn't A LOT of risk in this... is lying. However, to be at the forefront of an emerging major technology is awesome.

I started because I feel like I am really helping lifelong smokers. And if I can make some money while doing it, great.
