Hi there,

Does thicker liquid vape better then thinner liquid?

As a fairly new vaper I had previously purchased all juice from 1 supplier, their juice was thick...

Courtesy of this forum and my inquistiveness I then tried another supplier, I found their juice to be thinner and therefore 5 - 6 of the different juices vaped better to me.

Hence my question - Does thicker liquid vape better then thinner liquid? would appreciate your response...

Also I noticed (since trying a new supplier with thinner liquid) my existing suppliers thicker liquid is getting clogged up in my atty so its not wicking properly, which is strange because I never noticed this before....any one found this? any solutions? I found a temporary fix to totally clean the blue foam by rolling it around in kitchen towel and then refilling

Would really appreciate your comments and thoughts especially as I am only 7 weeks in to my vaping experience

thanks appreciate your help

Thicker liquid is VG based and thinner (and much larger percentage of the market) is PG based. VG produces a more visible vaper but mutes the taste (at least for some people) and decreases the throat hit to some degree. Some people seem to have allergic reactions to either PG or VG and use one vs the other because of that. Some suppliers allow you to mix PG and VG with whatever percentage you prefer.

What if you took PG and thinned a thicker juice out from say like Tasty Vapor's Kretek (clove cig flavor) if I made a ALL PG Kretek and took some PG and thinned it out a little more would that help the atomizer a little better do you think? Any suggestions. Sorry not trying to hijack this guy's post. Just trying to find some advice before I put this idea into works.

I'm no expert on which eliquid is harder on attys. My guess, however, that it is more the "flavor" ingredients than PG vs VG that are harder on attys. Many believe the darker liquids that possibly have a higher sweetner content are harder on attys. All my eliquids are of a "light" nature in color.

Your idea should not cause any additional problems with your atty's performance. However, any time you add a "tasteless" liquid to your eliquid, you will be "mutting" the flavor to a degree.
