Consolidated Issues --- Please Add As Necessary

OK I bought 2 units. One for me, one for Son in law. I just heard from him that his keeps randomly shutting off. The only way he can get it back on is to remove and replace the battery. Then he obviously has to reset voltage.

2 units bought. Both POS. This is a shame. If the damn things just worked they'd be freaking great.

That is a bummer but they are covered under warranty so you should be able to get them replaced. Mine is still working very good with no issues yet.

can the OP edit the first post from time to time, to reflect the problems listed?

This way people who see this thread won't have to read every single post.

This will especially be usuful if this tread gets a lot longer, and more problems arise.

Are you using non IMR 18650 batteries? Chances are, the batteries are protected. The Protection circuits in the batteries are set to cut off if the amperage goes above 2A. Thus the reason why u have to reinsert the batteries to "reset" the protection circuit.

At least that is what I believe is happening. Mine cuts off when I set it above 4.5 on my CE2s. Your LT seems to be working fine. Mine is set on 4.2v and TBH, its working like a charm.

I've been heavily, religiously, and exclusivly using lava tube for almost a month now, no sign of wear on the logo.

truthfully, I don't even understand how that can happen.. I use my thumb and index finger to fire, and both ways my hand never really makes contact with the logo. so how can it be rubbing off for some people???

Mines about all rubbed off now. I hold and carry my LT a lot touching all over the body. It doesn't bother me at all. In fact, I'll be glad once it's all gone. Had it since the 9th.

I still haven't had any noticeable voltage drop issues. Still don't have my meter yet but I compare it to my regulated 5 volt mod and 24 mg Wyatt Earp juice. At 5 volts this juice has a certain flavor, TH and nic feeling. If I lower the voltage to 4.8 I can tell right away that something is off. This is the case with my 5v passthrough because it's lower than my regulated 5v mod. so I use the both for comparison. So far at 5v the LT has kept my juice just the way I like it. I can use the LT with the AW battery for 18 hours before it says the battery power is down to 3.6 at which time I charge it. (I only have one battery) I have never let the LT drop below 3.6.

I wouldnt know about any voltage drop really not an issue with me,I just normally set mine at anywhere between 4.8 - 5.2 on my 2.7 ohm Boge and it creates masses of vapour/flavour/throat hit !!! Thats all I wanted and that is definitely what I have got

Haven't gotten mine yet, but it is also called a "power tube" from one vendor. Just ordered one.
