I have the Nautalis Mini and one of my favorite juices is 100% VG (Kamikaze Kate by Spit Fire, OMG, yum yum yum!!).
All my other juices are 70/30 VG/PG and I've never had a problem, and when I bought KK I never realized it was 100% VG till I got it home, so I got online and started reading and watching YouTube videos. The general consensus was that the BVCs with the Nautalis Mini are very capable of wicking 100% VG juice.
Two nights in a row now I've fallen asleep with it in my hand, so then when I've got up and got my coffee and gone outside and am ready for a vape, I have to go through the whole process of priming and get some major dry hits in the process. Is it possible this is happening because it's laid on its side the whole night long?
I plug the air flow hole and take non powered puffs, then unplugged I take a few more non powered puffs, then on the lowest a voltage I take small puffs and slowly up the voltage till I don't get anymore dry hits and it vapes nicely again. Sometimes it takes a while to get it primed again. I really seem to have to work at it, but when it's good, it's good.
If I actually take it off and put it away properly (as opposed to falling asleep with it in my hand), it's not nearly as bad, but I still have to prime it some.
Is this because it's 100% VG? Are there any solutions to this? I've read of people diluting it with 100% unflavored PG, but I don't want to dilute the flavor.
Any suggestions or insight will be greatly appreciated.
