.5Ω = .75V
.6Ω = .65V


Safety/hot spring is ~ .4V . . . . but depends on the current as its resistance creates the heat to drop it (melt it)

firing pin is ~.15 - .2V . . . . also, I think, slightly current dependant; but less so.

not a brass (chromed then sanded) RM2, but I don't know if that matters on the contact points

Ya I just got a new RM2 last week and it took forever to get 28 ga. through that hole.

it does appear that the RM2 changed since i got mine a month ago, I run two 26 gauge kanthal through mine with ease (well, as easy as it's handling 26 gauge kanthal)

Thank you much. I've lurked a bit, admired from a distance for longer. I know some of the peeps and apparently more know me from the genny circle. Bills are paid and my college just cut me a sizable check from my pell grant. Christmas is coming early.

I would think so. It's usually only a few days. You do have to be present to sign for it or you have to pick it up at your local post office or wait till the next day so long as your there when they deliver it.

The REO Grand has landed, Vapage has taken place.

A quick 28g 8 wrap micro on a green blunt tip needle (14g? 16g?) and it came in high at 1.5Ω so I'll have to remove 1 or 2 coils, but not quite yet. Shown below next to an EA in 350 mode with a nimbus 2 for size comparison.

Edit: The color in the far right picture is more accurate.
