Here we are again, another contest albeit a little later than I anticipated. An exciting new contest in which 3 of you will win! This is on the ECF only, and in this thread only.

1 winner - A sizable gift certificate of my choosing, which may or may not be e-cig related. Why? That's the fun of it!

2 winners - a $5 madvapes gift card!

So, what do you live for? I want to know! I want to know what you do to FEEL ALIVE or clear your mind. Something that you like to do or want to do to be in YOUR moment. I want to make you bring it up into your mind, tell me about it, and possibly be a reminder to find what it is and make time for it.

So what do I do to clear my head? Off-Roading. Whether it's hopping around in my Subaru Baja, hittin it hard in a '69 Bronco, or just running trails in an ATV, I love it. When I'm hanging off the side of a mountain here in East TN, I'm not thinking about anything but me and the trail or what's around the next bend.

Here are the rules -

1. Remember, this is about YOU and YOU ALONE. It's about what you do for yourself, not what you do with someone else. However, if what you enjoy is doing things for other people, that is an exception.

2. No drug or alcohol related posts. This is not what this is about and I won't even begin to consider them as entries.

3. No adult content. I'm sure you can figure out what I'm talking about.

4. No vulgar or childish entries. We're all adults here.

5. ONE ENTRY PER PERSON

6. Contest will end after 250 posts or 1 week, though that may flex a little depending on the amount of posts being made. It does have an end date though. I will update this once I see how the posting goes.

I will hand pick the First place winner. I will read all of the posts and determine which one I like the most.

The 2 other winners will be picked by a random number generator by their post number.

Why am I doing this? I like to give away stuff! I enjoy sharing what I can when I can. I also enjoy bringing on motivation and inspiration to others. This is all about my fellow vapers. We're in this together!

I know this has been a lot of reading, but hopefully its worth it. So, let's hear it, WHAT DO YOU LIVE FOR!

I can only do this in the summer, so I LIVE for summer. I work too much, then I come home and have to work some more. You know the old saying, "A woman's work is never done." I bought a cheap pontoon boat and got it all nice and clean and fixed up to go, and when I take it out on the lake, I am a completely different person. It's the ONLY time I am literally FORCED to relax. I can read a book or take some light crocheting with me and just relax the day away. I live for this, because it is the ONLY thing that let's me unwind and recharge. I fantasize about being able to do this EVERY day of the week, so I can yell "This IS the life!"

Here, there, everywhere!
Well I live for a few things.....

I live for camping.....LOVE camping with my family and friends. The only thing you have to worry about doing...is cook, eat and visit! Cell phones are taken but left in the camper OFF! Emergency only!

I live for my stepdaughter's basketball games....I LOVE watching her play and I can let loose and yell, scream and laugh all in one night.....it pumps my blood! I feel energized!

I live for my daughters swim meets.....though a little slower paced and they last 5-6 hours sometimes....I get to yell scream and laugh as well. It pumps my blood as well! I LOVE to watch all these kids at an even level no matter whether boy girl thin heavy.....the smiles make me so happy!

And as measly as it may seem I LIVE to keep my fingernails and toenails nice. This is truly something I do for myself and myself only feel good!

I also LIVE to try to make someone thats not smiling - smile. It amazes me how a simple smile or have a great day works on so many people!!!!

I LOVE to swim!! Not swimming laps or diving or something competitive, but just being in the water and doing whatever I feel like doing. It's great in the summer in an outdoor pool or waterpark, but I will also go swimming in an indoor pool even in the winter! I've walked outside after swimming in the winter and my hair is crispy because it is actually getting frozen lol. If I could swim every day I would...I'm surprised I am not a water sign lol...
It's just so refreshing!

Well I have two things that I do to escape reality or just get some me time lol. First is kiteboarding/kitesurfing, it's a bit of a workout but a ton of fun plus you get to fly a little bit, 5-70ft up in the air, for up to about a minute of hangtime...pure awesomeness!!! Second is going for a motorbike ride, all alone on an open road it about perfect, the sound of the engine, wind, and own thoughts is allmost pure bliss. I try to go for a ride at least once a week even if it's a short one and as far as kitting goes.....when it's windy and I've got a sitter....I'm flyin!-), hope everyone has somthing good to post about!!!-))

I really enjoy Fly-fishing on a hot early-summers evening.
I walk out into the lake in a T-shirt and shorts, fly-rod and live basket.
I used to carry a pack of, soon to be soggy, cigs. and a lighter, now it's just ecig. necklace (lol).
Standing out in the lake, hoping to catch something, but not caring if not.
It's just me, the water, turtles, loons and fish.

I really love to do things with my hands. It doesn't matter if I am fixing a car, bike, building computers, fixing things around the house, or even cooking. It doesn't really matter what it is just as long as I am using my hands. I don't know why, but I just get this really good feeling when I see something that I have done actually work. Also I don't always know what I am doing (most of the time I don't lol) but this also gives me the satisfaction of learning how to do something new and that also gives me a great satisfaction. Then there is the happiness that I can give to other people when I do stuff for them when they were told they would have to pay an outrageous amount of money and then I tell them I will do it if they just get the parts they need. This is why I live, and what I love to do. Just talking about it makes me wanna go fix something but there ain't nothing to fix. Maybe I should go break something lol:lol:

I live for...new experiences and adventures. as many as life has to offer in the time that I have here... all "shapes and sizes"...to their fullest and with no regrets, no fear and no expectations - no holding back. To constantly challenge myself physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. This can mean many things...anything-depending on the moment in time. It can be as exciting as an adrenaline rush felt while zip lining on Dragon's Breath in Labadee, Haiti - to the pure peaceful awe of swimming with dolphins and turtles in the open ocean in Hawaii. It can be the satisfaction of learning to fix my own appliances, to the serenity of painting a sunset, to the solitary peacefulness of just floating in a waterfall pool in a jungle, to sitting in contemplative silence with a loved one in the hospital, to the quiet joy of rocking a child to sleep. To visit places I've never been and immerse myself in that culture. To never miss an opportunity to learn, to teach - to grow. To live with an open mind and heart, without preconceived notions and to never lose my sense of humor - especially when it comes to laughing at myself. I live to be as true to myself as I am to others. I live to hold on long enough to let go. I live to re-define...re-invent myself at any moment in time -all the time- and never do the same thing twice!

OK. I know this is going to sound like a total "suck-up" answer, but I'm saying it anyway. I live to VAPE. I'm two months in and feel so much better. I can run and play so much more with my four year-old son. I have started doing DIY liquids and have been planning a couple of mods. It has given me the creative outlet that I've been missing for years.

I live to enjoy and appreciate life, but the thing that I do that gives the most pleasure is restoring pinball machines. I get them beat up then spend dozens of hours bringing them back to factory fresh condition. It requires mastering many skills; mechanical, electrical, computer (for the more modern versions), woodworking, various artwork such as playfield, cabinet etc, plastic reparation and sometimes thinking out the box to fix a part that's not available. I enjoy the process of just me and the game with no other variables and keeps me focused and absorbed for many hours at a time.

Of course, the greatest joy is stepping back and saying "Done!", then firing it up and playing the heck out of it.

I live for spontaneous shows of affection. My children do it best. That "mom, I need a kiss and a hug" given for no rhyme or reason really pulls at me and tells me"this is what its all about. I'm doing SOMETHiNG right". A child coming to bed for comfort during a storm, the morning snuggle. I guess its about connecting to humanity. I'm not a touchy-feely person, so displays of affection make me uncomfortable, except for this. When it happens, its pure JOY.

My story. I can't say I live for just one thing. I'd be lying to myself. As corny as it may sound I live for more then just possessions... I live for the fact of never knowing what tomorrow brings and hoping that the awesome things I thought of today and didn't live up to I can hopefully apply tomorrow which has seemed to push me a lot. I try to clear my mind by putting on some of my favorite tunes and rockin out in my car on the way to work not caring about what anyone thinks. I like to believe it keeps me staying positive before putting 12 hrs. in at "The Farm."

At the end of the day I want to just enjoy my life and continue to challenge myself everyday... Do some things I may regret but SMILE through the process.

Ok my brain hurts now... I kinda feel like writing a book. haha GREAT BRAIN TEASER n2danexxus!

I live for myself and I live to learn. For quite a good chunk of my life I didn't. I thwarted my own success in friendships, jobs and quality of life. I had to figure out that I was worth living for, and once I did, life just got better. Vaping makes me happy, gaming makes me happy, making tanks and (now) mods makes me happy. Chilling in the AC on a hot day in PIF forums makes me happy. I live with the most beautiful girl in the world (who says I have biased eyes) and that makes me most happy. To share our lives together would not be possible if I didn't love myself as well. I live in a world of my own, created by me, to be what I want. When it isn't the way I wan't it then I work to change it, because then the fun really begins!

I live for my daughter. No matter what I do it reflects that in someway. I quit smoking for her, I got a full time job and am in school for her, I stopped partying all the time (Still on weekends:p), got full custody from her POS mom so that she could have a better life. In all seriousness, cut away all the BS I may talk, I live for her.

Well, I live for the auction horses that are underfed. I/we own 22 at the present time. It does my heart good to watch them come back to health. One of the most rewarding things to me is when I finally get to take one of them on a mountain trail ride. Nothing I have ever done clears my mind like a leisurely horseback ride. Knowing that they could at any time overpower and seriously hurt me, but they don't because they choose not to. Cantering one of my rescued Thoroughbred I feel like I am flying. On the back of my Tennessee Walker, it is like floating through the air. So yes I do live for my horses, I believe they are God's most noblest creatures.

Well I too, like Twiztid, live for my daughter who is a special needs child. She is the reason I quit the cigs in the first place when she said daddy I don't want you to die, I have COPD now and had to do something after that. I also play drums and traveled on the road for years before she was born but had to let that go due to age and the COPD but still enjoy music, it is a world of its own, but my daughter is my life and joy now.

What I live for is disc golf. Since discovering the spot 2 years ago, I've honed my skills incredibly. There's nothing like a sport where you don't really compete with other players...at least I don't. I compete with the course and myself. Another great thing about my sport...you don't need other amazing players on your 'team'. You can go out with new people, older people, or people who just play casually and not as seriously as I take it.
After about 6 months and three tournaments playing REC, I finally got my first place finish in REC division. I've since bumped myself up to the intermediate division. This Sunday I'll be playing the third touney of my INT career...wish me luck.

Novice->Recreational->Intermediate->Advanced->Pro

I live to cook. I work as a professional chef. I cook for 12 hours a day, then I go home and cook for the family. Nothing in life gives me more joy than this. When someone is having a bad day, nothing makes you feel better than some comfort food. A special occasion and we as humans celebrate with food. The joy I can bring people cooking as meal for them brings me inner peace. Cooking has always been the one thing I could do well. It centers me and makes others happy...what else could you need?

I live for an optimum level of physical and spiritual health. In the past two years I've lost close to 200 lbs, I've stopped smoking, I've become a personal trainer, yoga instructor, zumba and zumba gold instructor. I've been a vegetarian since I was 15, but I switched to vegan, & decided to only put natural foods, high in fiber in my body. I closely watch my caloric intake, and the calories I burn. I make sure I get in some sort of physical activity every single day............whether I'm in a Zumba class, climbing a hundred stairs at a water park, toting an AR-15 in an intense tactical course, or riding my bicycle in the outdoors, I know that physical activity needs to remain a part of my life.

Although I've reached my goals of weight loss, and becoming an instructor in some of my favorite activities. I don't do them for money. Attaining these goals were just part of the journey & it makes me feel incredible when I gain a certification. I live to know that I can breathe easy when climbing a flight of stairs, or "running" from the furthest parking spot in the walmart parking lot into the store. I live to share my story, & hope to inspire others to make a change in their lives for the better.

I've been saving lives in my "real job" for the last 10 years........but making these healthy changes helped me get one of my current jobs (my actual dream job), as there is a weight limit & physical fitness/swimming/wilderness test (along with computer exams, cardiac rhythm exams, and maintaining multiple professional certifications) that has to be passed to obtain the job. I'm proud to say i've been flying high in the clouds, while saving lives since last May! So, whether you are in the wilderness & have an ATV accident, or you are the victim of a near drowning at an obscure far out lake........... you could just meet me.......as i fly in & swoop you up, stabilize you...........then take you to my "other job"............where they take over your care from there.

I live for an optimum level of physical and spiritual health...........for me...........and you.
