1) I learned early on that you MUST follow instructions from the manufacturer. You CANNOT wing it.
2) I learned that Smokeless Image is a newbie vaper's best friend as compared to other online websites, this one offers good customer service AND tutorial videos for their products.
3) I learned that patience is a virtue with vaping. It takes time to figure out what flavors you like, whether you like clearos or cartos or tanks or some other accessories, and that it'll take some time to find that "sweet spot" on your spinner.
4) I learned that variable voltage is not as frightening of a concept for a novice as most would have you think. Just beware of ramping the voltage too high and damaging coils on your cartos.
5) I learned that being awake early in the morning gives you homefield advantage for posting consecutively in a vaping contest thread
7) I learned that ECF is the best place to go to for vaping questions, and believe me you'll have many questions.
8) I learned that just because a juice flavor is popular doesn't mean that I'll necessarily like it.
9) I learned that vaping is so much more than simply replacing a cigarette addiction. It's a hobby and something that I enjoy.
10) I learned that I can vape a crap ton all day and STILL run on the treadmill or around my neighborhood without feeling like my lungs are about to burst.
11) I learned that vaping is WAY cheaper than smoking is, though you will likely have to shell out a good amount of cash to really set yourself up for vaping.
12) I learned that some people still don't understand what vaping means and think they're going to get "second hand smoke" from being around you while vaping.
13) I've learned that cig-a-likes are only a small taste of what real vaping entails. Buy an X2 or a Spinner and find out.
14) I've learned that thick liquids can clog wicks of clearomizers, certain juices (cinnamon, citrus, highly sweetened) can wreck clearomizers, and that it's best to have a variety of cartomizers, clearomizers, and other accessories to appropriately enjoy your juices.
15) I've learned that I can sit down and come up with 15 different things I've learned from vaping and STILL feel like a novice. Seven months into being free of cigarettes and beginning my vaping journey and I still don't feel like I've even scratched the surface.
2---If you vape that carto dry and then continue to vape it anyway, you get a nasty burnt tasting experience.
