Secondly...Uncle has said a lot..... and what some of us know....Uncle knows best......
What I think is one of the best type of contest is the weekly "chat & win" contests (with numbered entries & unlimited posts).... That is where the best information comes from. You can introduce new items, sales & gain feedback....It also doesn't limit the people from posting when they can...some contests are for night people(insomniacs), while others are only on occasionally. I too have been around for awhile and I personally enjoy almost all of them. If the "prize" is a gift certificate then I believe most winners will also buy above & beyond that amount.
I also like to know that you are available if I have any questions....as you have shown with the replies to this thread...
I like the website and wish I had funds to make a purchase now....I will be returning....

One more thing...I was "playing" on the website and the shipping seems a little high for 1 item...($6.20) Do you have to ship priority? it's a smaller item and I have noticed it will come just as fast with regular shipping. Can people have a choice?

Welcome, and thanks for the contest.

Probably wont be so popular for saying this, cause some people think they should win just for showing up. I always like contests that require work. Scavenger, or something along them lines. Also, IMO the giveaway should be something that's good. If a winner likes what they won, or could win it will bring in a lot of traffic. Nothing says status like something a person could really like and use all the time. Unlike a carto, something that's broken tomorrow, or 15mls of juice that's already gone. Okay, I have NOT read the entire thread, so maybe this has already been suggested, but I would like to see a weekly (monthly?) contest that actually forces someone to go to your website to enter. Perhaps something like asking folks to visit the site, pick out a single item from your inventory, posting that item here in the contest thread and explaining why they want to win it. Then you could offer 2nd and 3rd place prizes as coupons or discount codes as well. You could also price limit the prize value, and have folks pick items at or below the value you set.

This would do a couple of things, for starters, it would drive folks to your site to see what you have to offer. Second, it would have people returning to your site periodically (at least every time the contest restarts/changes). Third, it would give you exposure over time to more and more people as the word gets out about the recurring contest.

You could also start a "Review" thread here on ECF in your shop sub-forum, and once every couple of weeks, just pick someone from that time frame and award them a cool prize. So for every review posted (good, bad, or indifferent), someone would have a chance of being selected for some prize at random. If you limit the time frame to only reviews since the previous award period, instead of the entire thread, then the number of people eligible to win would only be those that have written a recent review. I would expect that to drive new folks to the site to buy stuff they could review in the hopes of winning a prize.

Another contest option, since this is a contest called "It's all about me", would be to just award some random lucky ECF member named "devauto" a prize every time you think of running a contest ...

Okay, all selfishness aside, what drives me to purchase from websites are praises from other ECF members for customer service, low prices, and low shipping costs. Your prices seem to be pretty fair, so there probably isn't a lot of room there (although there might be enough to shave a little more off), but you could also offer free shipping for orders over $XX . If $XX is low enough, that would also be a pretty good incentive to get folks to shop on your site. For example, free shipping on orders over $100 would not likely generate as much new business as free shipping on orders over $50.

Welcome! I'll keep it simple. A lot of the contests here are based on posting in a thread as many times as possible. I really don't love those. Send us to your site to check things out and have people enter once. Anything more just gets annoying, IMHO.

altho i like the idea of going to the web site and picking out things you would like, after awhile peeps dont bother to do it lol the just copy and paste from another poster. i have helped on many many contests so i do know this to be true, so in a way it defeats the purpose.
there are alot of people that work also so a time consuming contest would be hard for them to play(just trying to keep it fair)
thats why a story contest does seem to work and it with no back to back posting or say u can only post maybe every third line helps to keep it going on a daily bases.and u can chat just post it as chat. i also agree with coupon codes and i think free shipping on orders over 25.00 works. also i would like to see choices on shipping so u can ship cheaply if you choose. ok just my
also i think he is allowed only 2 threads open at once so i dont think he would be able to have a dedicated review thread.

50/50 But would rather have 70% VG. I have a YT review channel. I have also been here for a while on ECF. From all my EXP. I have heard of way more bad reactions from people that vape more PG. For me, if I vape high PG it gives me heart burn. If I keep going it gives me breathing issues, and chest pains.
