I'll throw in some suggestions. . .

Grammar-Nazi time. You're missing an apostrophe in the word 'don't'. :)

I might suggest instead of putting '09-'11, to just have it say: Since '09. When you place a hyphen after '09 followed by another year, it seems like it's deceased. Rather, it seems like you no longer vape anywhere you'd please. :)

Seems nit-picky, merely putting my :2c: in :)

I'll fix the apostrophe for the first one. The second one I was trying to create a banner that could apply to everyone, and putting one year would not work for everyone. Any suggestions?

Oh, well, I just thought that perhaps the banner reflected your personal experience. If you were stating it for everyone, I would imagine the year would of been '07-'08? Though, I'm not 100% sure on when the E-cig came over to the States, but I am pretty sure they hit England before us *shrug* I was just nit-picking anyways, ever get the mood to nit-pick at something?

This is my fav of those three!!!

Thanks  - it was my first attempt at creating a banner, I really liked the composition and wanted to emphasize the "moving-up" to vaping - however at the time, I didn't know  what other symbol I could have used or to make the ^ bolder & larger. Now, after learning some more about the editing process ;) and what other options I have, if I had another entry left I might have tried a "Flash" version of this one. :D

I like the top one better as well, but I think it would be more effective with the CASSA logo. This makes it longer than what you were going for, but it's just a quick cut'n'paste:

If I may "piggy-back" onto this suggestion . . . What would it say if you combined the last 2 lines"

"S.1403 = e-Cig Taxes - Common sense = Supporting Big Tobacco"
X e-Cig Users = "Smoking/Smokers" again . . .

I really don't know, however I think it might emphasize or reflect that if the bill was passed to tax e-Cig "stuff" not only supports Big Tobacco then consequently there would be more x e-Cig users and people may return back to smoking analogs . . .

Just a thought. :)

Okay - to tag on with my friend "laurea09" and doing our traditional "Bump" disco dance to keep a really "Special" thread going - so many more people can enter . . . Here's another for the night:

with a little :rickroll: on the side . . .

P.S. Of course this is not an entry in the "Banner" contest - just a "bump" . . .

JUST as an FYI: I personally cannot read most of what is on your banner . . .
Can you enlarge the image ?
And if not, might I suggest, if you can - change either the background or the colors in the text . . .
Just a thought . . . :)

Behind you
OK, homestretch.....

- Entries will be closed between midnight September 18th and ~0400 September 19th Eastern.

- Nothing that I'd consider a "leading contender" for the Grand/First place prizes looks to be problematic with (C)opyright.

Soooo.... I had wanted to throw a twist &| wrench into the mix. Here it is..

- A THIRD "Grand Prize" Sweet Vapes mod, specifically a mini-GRIP ~Feeder~, for the best original narrative/YouTube/poem/etc. ~humor~ entry about this thread. The entries, the typos, the "naming" conventions, the innuendo, etc. etc. Just have fun. Make me laugh hard enough, you win. All the normal rules apply, wait line, same countries, etc. etc. ONE entry per person and you MUST say it's your entry for this ~Third~ prize. Anybody can enter even if you've participated in the rest of the entries.

Now for the details from here-out. The Third Prize winners will be selected within a day or two of closing as that's some scripting and random number generation. The Second Prize winners a day or two after that. And the Grand Prize and new Third Grand Prize winner(s) will be chosen a few days after that. Notified via PM and in-thread, etc.

Good to go? Good. -Magnus
