I'd like to see all these games and contests threads made into stickies so they float to one, easily identifiable section so I can quickly bypass them. There are a zillion of them it seems. I know there are diehard game players out there (and God bless you) but I'm also guessing there are a lot more who think most of them are dopey and just serve as clutter. All kinds of suspense to win a cheap gift. To each their own and I certainly would not want to see them go away for those who enjoy them. But I would also like to keep them segregated on the "New Posts" page (along with the classy ads) so it makes the "New Posts" page contain the real threads with substance...what I believe the real purpose of ECF is. Hell, the players might like it segregated too.

Am I a nincompoop or are there others who feel the same as me? Speak up, you wont hurt my feelings any. :)

Please remember that these games can be important to our merchants, to introduce and build traffic for new sites and to retain/reward loyal customers. The games may seem "dopey" to you, but I would bet they're a not unimportant part of most vendors' business strategies. And we do want to encourage new vendors and keep our established ones! That said, I think we should ask the vendors what they think of segregating the games.

This is part of my point. Segregating the games might be an advantage for those who like to play them. Yes,I think the games are dopey but I'm also big enough to know they are not dopey to everyone and there is plenty of room on ECF for everyone. I'm also not going to lose any sleep over it but perhaps there is a win-win to be gained here. Same for the Classy ads.

Gotta pick the four, two-digit numbers I'm thinking and if by chance you win you get a free 10ml bottle of juice. Submit as many answers as you want. Hang out on my thread all day and all night if you want. Good luck getting that $8 prize.
