We traditionaly use syringes to fill classical Genesis. Here is the 2.3mm filling hole:

The idea was to make something simple to fill the tank fast from usual e-liquid bottle.
I used a piece of 2mm metallic tube taken from the old atomizer and 3 pieces of heatshrink tube:

Put them together. The small tip of metallic tube is needed as shown:

The prepared filling tube inserted into the old filling hole:

Now you can fill the tank without a syringe, just from the bottle:

Thanks to asdaq for inspiring

PoppaVic60, thanks. This is another way to do the same :)
My purpose was to modify filling process as simply as possible and do it reversible - just remove the filling tube and use a cork if you don't like the system. Also I prefer to use standard e-liquid bottles without anything spare.
Anyway I've been using this system all day - joyable. Keep my syringe just in case and did not use it at all

Heh..I went the route of a small dia brass tube soldered into that hole, and keep a bit of the next size up with the juice bottles..

Set the tube in the tip, invert and telescope over, fill and remove.

Something tells me if you reversed it so the small tube was for the bottle, you could pierce the the dripper nipple with the small tube and just have a few mm exposed to fit into the larger tube. Prepare several bottles this way, and when you get a new bottle replace the nipple with the modded one.

OK guys, I just got back from the turner's after a nice lengthy discussion and he seems to think that if we do these in stainless, which is likely how we want these done (?), and have a minimum of 150 made, the price point will be $0.13 each + shipping of course. This careful calculation takes into account that we don't get too fancy with bevels or insist on too many colors. Does this seem reasonable enough?

Dang it! That ain't no Vivi Tank! I want it. Send it immediately! ;-)

I soooo need to puzzle out an extender and replacement tank on the Vivi *sigh*

Syringe Free.

I used a small piece of SS tube of say, about 16G, of unknown origin and some heat shrink as slimest did. This really works a treat and is publicly much more relaxed to be using a Filling Tube.

Hahaha! The term "just working" is scary for me too: I am a service engineer, if everything works, I lose my job

P.S. Always envy asdaq, his heaters look always academically perfect :)

P.P.S. Today I modified my second spare atomizer the same way, made the metallic tube a little shorter and used only one layer of the thick heatshrink tube.

Way to go slimest, those reductions will bring the co-op price down remarkably too. Tscha, now about that shipping..... :)

And you are too kind, I have all sorts of irregularities and the slop from one piece has to match the next one. I was pleasantly surprised that it stood up by itself with the bottle attached.
