Yep, battery(ies), a rapid charger, and the cone and you're good to go :)

The only reason I can think of to go for a full ego kit instead (or similar e.g. vgo, riva) is if the total cost is less or similar, because then you're either saving period - or at least saving on a spare battery, atomizers, and carts. Depends on your budget of course. I turned a couple people on to starting with just a 900mAh batt, rapid charger, cone, and some carts or cartos. One of them got a second 900mAh battery recently just in case, but didn't *need* it as far as battery life goes for a day.

Strictly speaking, you don't need the cone, either. It just looks nicer.

batteries and a charger are really enough. A lot of people don't bother with the cone 'cause it makes the atties "sweat".

Honestly, IMO the eGo USB batt is the best upgrade for a 510. It can be used as a passthrough, and just disconected from the cable and used as a regular eGo. Much cheaper way to progress. Rob at Goodprophets.com is hinting at having a sale sometime before the weekend, and his sales are always great. I would keep my eye on that forum.

I agree with LowThud.

Yup. The USB eGo has a built in charger, so no worries. You can buy two of them and have one for backup. If they had these when I bought my eGo, I never would have bought a kit. When one of my batts died, these had just come out and only Janty had them. I decided(somewhat regretably) to buy a 900mAh batt instead so I could get it fast and cheap. But, at least I learned about goodprophets in the process. Robs a great supplier. I highly recomend his VG juice. Good Prophets

Oh, and rather than a cone, I recomend the eGo mega atty and carts as in the pick above. I will never use a 510 atty on an eGo again.
Since the cone gives its own "eGo" behavior to the 510 atty (giving warmer vapor and a harder draw), do the mega atty have the same behavior or it feels like a plain 510 atty?

No, the cone has "alittle" effect. Don't overestimate it. It isn't that much of a difference. The eGo mega atty turns an eGo into a real fog machine. LOTS of vapor, and IMO the flavor is better.

I absolutely love the vape with the cone on. It is warmer and I like the draw.

Perhaps I'm a little slow on the uptake here but I recently discovered that I can pull the cart off the eGo, refill it and put it back on without ever removing the cone. I hear you laughing.

I love the 510 mega atty/cart combination on the eGo 900mAh batts. Wow! 9+hours without charging and 25 drops of juice vaping without refilling.

Are you saying it holds 25 drops of liquid while dripping, or is it a mega cart with poly fill?
