Hi all -- I started out with ego-t attys, but couldn't get them to work right. Have worked my way up to EMDCCs, which I really enjoy. Though my darker juices kill them in 3 or 4 days. No big deal, given their cost.

Anyway, I have four new ego-t attys (type B). I'm curious...if I take the plate and wick out, can they be used as a drip atty? I have a few drip tips from the EMDCCs. Could maybe just pop one on and try it. Wasn't sure if it'd work, or how exactly to get it to work correctly. Is it really as simple as putting a few drops in the tip, letting it settle, then taking a few puffs? I'd only use this method when at home, so I imagine they tank attys would last quite a long time.

Thanks!

It's better to pop the tip off and aim your drip. It will work fine but the eGo-T attys have lots of extra room around the coil. If you're holding it at an angle and drip, the juice can easily pool up on the side and never actually get to the coil. Your EMDCC tips will work fine but you can also pick up a nice delrin tip if you don't like the soft rubber.
