Converting Old Tube Mech Switch to Constant Contact

Just wondering if anyone has ever taken one of the older bottom firing tube mechs and converted the spring/magnet switch into a constant contact switch.

Would love to hear details and pics would be great.

You can simply add a spacer between battery and switch on mechs with a long throw. This will shorten the throw and the spacer will act as your CC.
On mechs with a short throw, you might not be able to screw the switch all the way in anymore, so it might be necessary to leave a gap between switch and tube. Placing some o-rings on the threads of the switch might help.
