Very nice! My daughter is an art major too. Last year, she won 1st place in fine art at her college’s show. I mean, small community college, but still, I’m so proud! One of the best days of my life.

Wow that's fantastic! And no small feat really, considering all the wonderful art she must have been competing with. :thumbs:

I found this info enlightening.

Know Temperature when metal glows red | Hearth.com Forums Home

How to tell what temperature a glowing object (metals) might be:

It doesn't really matter what the emitter is...stainless steel, cast iron, tungsten in your light bulb, the temps are about the same for a given color. Generally accepted colors/temps are:

::C ----- ::F ---- Color
400 -- 752 -- Red heat, visible in the dark
474 -- 885 -- Red heat, visible in the twilight
525 -- 975 -- Red heat, visible in the daylight
581 -- 1077 - Red heat, visible in the sunlight
700 -- 1292 - Dark red
800 -- 1472 - Dull cherry-red
900 -- 1652 - Cherry-red
1000 - 1832 - Bright cherry-red
1100 - 2012 - Orange-red

C= Centigrade
F= Farenheit

Not really sure, because I have vaped pretty much the same since I started and never ventured into anything else. Also have never tried anyone else's vape to compare. I think my vape is warm, but maybe compared to someone else's it could be hot or cold. One thing I know is my vape has an intense TH because I vape 24mg. Besides that I mtl rebuildables at 20 ish watts with coils in the .7 range.

I haven't vaped 24mg in several years. I never noticed that much TH because I switched from smoking to vaping at 24mg/ml. I suppose it would take my head off now after years at 3mg and 6mg! :shock:

Air flow pretty much governs vape temps. I often wonder how people manage to vape at 220W even with inhaling massive air volumes into their lungs. I've tried a friend's 80W vape and it was cool.

But then, I'm a Tootle Puffer and always have been! MTL is the way we smoked all our lives. I never like a hot boxed cigarette, either. There was always a guy in high school who never bought a pack, but would ask for a hit on yours and hand it back with a 1 inch coal on the end.

As long as it don't burn my mouth, I like it a little higher than warm. A cool vape to me would be as much fun as cold coffee, not
I can't drink hot coffee. Or eat hot food for that matter. Very warm occasionally. I prefer lukewarm food. Coffee? Lukewarm to iced is fine.
