This is misinformation. The nicotine in vapor is absorbed in the linings of the mouth, the back of the throat, and nose. Very little is absorbed in the lungs if any. It's not even necessary to inhale in the lungs at all.
The correct technique for vaping is via a mouth inhale. Long slow pulls into the mouth and hold it there momentarily. You may either inhale into the lungs to simulate smoking, or just exhale through you mouth and nose.

That's why I take me teeth out while vape since the bridge covers top of mouth so as to give more area for absorption, also leads to more taste.
