This is misinformation. The nicotine in vapor is absorbed in the linings of the mouth, the back of the throat, and nose. Very little is absorbed in the lungs if any. It's not even necessary to inhale in the lungs at all.

The correct technique for vaping is via a mouth inhale. Long slow pulls into the mouth and hold it there momentarily. You may either inhale into the lungs to simulate smoking, or just exhale through you mouth and nose.

That's why I take me teeth out while vape since the bridge covers top of mouth so as to give more area for absorption, also leads to more taste. :D

Received my package from myvaporstore yesterday, and am really happy with the direction I went. I ended up going with the twister 1300mAh (due to your advice) and an iclear 16 and kangertech evod cartomizers. I definitely prefer the iclear. I also got (3) 10ml bottles of fluid, and at this point prefer myvaporstores american55 premium at 24mg. As I haven't smoked in about 5 years, my first hit caused a huge bout of coughing! My wife thought it was hilarious, but adjusting the voltage down seemed to take care of it, and I haven't had any problems since.

After my first full day of use, I've only taken two dips. This is amazing compared to my past experience with e-cigs. I'm planning on lowering the nicotine% on my next order of fluid, and am excited to try some of the other brands and flavors of the fluids that are out there. I'm sure there are much better than I have now, but am so far super happy and excited with my progress.

Thanks again for everyone's help!

Congratulations! So glad you're finding it pleasant (minus the coughing fits!). You will probably cough a bit, especially in the mornings for a couple of weeks. It takes a while for your lungs to adapt. Also, now that you're getting the hang of things, check out this sticky on inhalation technique. You may find it difficult at first (even as a smoker I never exhaled out my nose but now do it without thinking). Much better nic delivery, and you might find it easier to give up even those 2 dips/day!

welcome uscoastie. I too am using the e-cigs to quit smokeless. I started dipping at 14 and did so for 9 years. My first experience with e-cigs was "cig-a-likes" and I found them unsatisfying. Then I made the switch to a 650mah ego style battery and a ce4 clearo and what a difference i experienced. I am currently at 6 weeks without a dip. Stick with it and keep trying different setups till you find what works for you. I also converted my wife to vaping, she still has half a pack of marlboro lights in her car that havent been touched since she made the switch 3 weeks ago. Best of luck to you

Update:
It has been 18 days since my last dip! I no longer feel the need to chew. I have had some different side effects from quitting, mainly areas of itchy skin (may not even be vape related), and minor anxiety (I've suffered from this in the past). After some research on here, I learned I'm not the only one with these symptoms. I'm still using 24mg juice, but on my next order, I am stepping it down.

Thanks again for all your help! I'm enjoying vaping so much, that even if I quit nicotine all together, I can still see myself using 0mg juices just for fun!
