Time for nighty night time. My contacts are starting to dry out.
Goodnight all!
I still cant believe my wife all but told me to get one. Seriously. We went to Myrle Beach during what ended up being "Black Bike Week". We didnt know that when we left, but we sure realized it once we got there. Really. Thats what they call it. "Bike Week" was the week previous and consisted of mainly Harleys and other cruisers. "Black Bike Week" was pretty much all street bikes ridden by mainly non-white people. No, Im not racist, but that statement is a fact. So, anyways, while we are driving around, surrounded by bikes, my wife sees a Hyabusa and says "You know.... I wouldnt mind if you had one of those." I look at her like she's crazy. She has grumbled and complained about every project car Ive owned, tinkered with, built, or raced. I asked "So if I brought a bike home, you wouldnt be mad?" And she said "Nope. As long as its a good looking bike". One week later, I had the boat sold and the bike bought. Now she claims that she never said any of the above conversation.

Being a bike rider in SC is a huge risk. Mainly due to its lack of helmet laws. I still ride with a helmet though. I dont trust myself, and I trust everyone else even less. Im fairly certain if I had bought a street/sport bike when I was 18, I wouldve been a greasy smear on some road before I hit 19 years old.Smart, I wanted a 929RR so bad. In hindsight it would have killed me, pretty much without a doubt.
