Tiff, hang in there. I hate it when people say "Things will work out", but they will.

Drott, enjoy the cool down time. The various errands will still be there tomorrow and Monday.

I got our leave mowed. Yes, I mowed leaves. I cant say we have a yard of green, but I can say its not a yard of leaves. Its a yard of tiny leaf bits. But it still looks better than when I started. I even let the kids ride/steer the mower with me.

Then I made the mistake of getting on the trampoline. Holy crap Im out of shape. Just 5 minutes of jumping made me feel like my heart was going to explode out of my chest. Im thinking I should do it more often. I need to get some cardio of some sort back in my life.

And the inflatables wont be ready to come in anytime soon. Apparently, when the temps dont get above 30 degrees, the ice wont melt for some reason. Until it does, I cant take them down and bring them in. Who has two thumbs and is the only person in town with Christmas decorations still up??? THIS GUY!!!!

Oh good news the girls have started to lay again. So where's everyone????? I'm still the one with out a live????

Nope, I have no life either. I also have no heat and a broken Jeep. :( I ran out of oil yesterday, called to have it filled, and now the reset button won't do anything at all. The Jeep has the "check engine" light on, the little computer reader thingy says it's missing on one cylinder, but none of us can hear anything wrong. But now it's making funny noises.

This is my usual winter time s--t storm. <sigh> I'm glad it's happening after the holidays.

No Drott. I have no life either. If its not work, Im with the kids.

Bamrz, that sucks. I wish I could help you out with.

I didnt get my nap. I forgot that Melanie has a school project that I was voluntold to help her with. She has to make a model of the town fire station. They are learning about maps in school. She now has a colorful box. When she's done with it, I'll cut out the doors for the truck. And we happen to have a toy fire truck thats JUST the right size to sit inside it. :)

So I fixed dinner. Pork chops and homestyle fried taters. Then I realized that I forgot to trim CJ's hair after he had already taken a shower. Oh well. I'll try to remember tomorrow.

Sounds like you all made a decision and you're O.K. with it.It sounds like a good plan...
Have fun running those errands Drott. Sounds like loads of fun.

That sounds like a wonderful evening planned, Rick. I wanna go. I won't the the DD though.

After work I picked up yet another bag of dog food. Then came home to all heck breaking loose with Alex. We're having a talk with him this weekend about the direction his life is leading to. At this point I don't see that he will be able to handle college or tech school. Which leaves his options limited in life. We want him to honestly know that if continues and doesn't try to make a change in how he handles things that a group home may be in his future. I HATE, HATE, HATE the thought of that but we can not enable him to be less that what he is capable of. As long as he is in school then he can stay here. I'm working on getting his work permit now so he can get a p/t job. We're at our wits end. /rant

Have a wonderful Saturday everyone. Going to the in-laws in a bit.

That stinks! Hopefully it won't be too pricey to fix. Red beans and rice does sound good.
