JD, sorry to hear about your friend. I hope they get well soon.

Could be worse could have been the grand kids. You know your loving every min of it.
True. Mandy told me her mom's neighbor came over to visit, didn't tell anyone she had the flu. Now all the kids are sick. :(

I havent been skeet/clay pigeon shooting since I was in Boy Scouts.

No. Not EVERYone has my address. Just ALMOST everyone.
The only time I went skeet shooting was with the boys when they were in Scouts! I was really bad at hitting a moving target.

You mean we missed giving some people your address? 8-o If anyone needs it, they can just PM. :) Because James just loves getting strange things in the mail!:lol::lol:

James, I feel for you. I never just wake up nicely all by myself. Either Victor is tormenting me or Jake is complaining loudly. And I thought once there were no kids here I would have some peace. hmmph.

Bamrz, looks like Apollo had been abandoned. You can keep him now. (worth a try, tee hee!)
Yeah, and I thought when I left my ex I'd really enjoy sleeping by myself, then I got a Rottie. She snored, farted, and pushed me to the edge of the bed. :p

They can have Apollo back, he found the cat box this morning. Not much longer to wait for the puppy! :)

Good morning, Posse.

Wow. I had no idea how deep the hole was that I lived in. I knew that the current administration was the worst in history as far as gun laws were concerned... But I had no idea it goes as far out to the UN....

Obviously, Im back from the range. Im about to go shave and shower, but wanted to check in and catch up first.

I rented a Springfield xD 9mm and a Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm. I was more accurate with the Smith and Wesson, but loved how smooth the Springfield felt. Both had 16rd mags. Me likey. Now I get to go find a dealer with one in stock at a price I can afford.

Sorry, I misspoke. No permits. Just registering of handguns. Rifles and shotguns need no registration or permit as far as I can tell.

WE NEED PIX!!! OK... I need pix... We have a "carpocalypse" thread. Post them there with any details you would like to share about it!

I love my XDs. They're probably the most boringly reliable pistols that I own, besides my revolvers. My Springfield M1A has been very reliable, also.

In Texas we don't have to register any gun.

'68 Z/28 w/ 383 stroker. 350CIsb bored .060 over with 6" rods, all forged internals, cams, 750 Holley double w/ mechanical secondaries. Hand built radiator w/ electric fans. Mallory ignition. Ford 9" rear end w/ 3.73 gears. Richmond Street/Strip 5spd.

If you'd quit dashing to and fro like a chicken with a mop on her head, we'd see you better!

Today we get to go to Home Depot or Menards to get the last of the stuff for the chickens castle.

I still have not bought a light fixture, going to try the re-store and see what they have.

Looks weird outside with no mousemobile parked there. And I am liking the new, improved view. (for now, that is)

I found the one I want at Buds Gun Shop, courtesy of Spicy, for just over $500. They are $600+ everywhere else Ive seen.

Put your car pix here!!!

I do have to ask, why the Ford rear end? I mean, I understand that a Ford 9" is stronger than a Chevy 10 bolt, but there are a lot of aftermarket housings out there (Strange and Richmond are the first that come to mind) that wouldve prevented cross breeding. Its not that there is a Ford part in a Chevy. I feel the same way about Chevy parts on Ford, of Mopar into Ford or Chevy. Im not a purist, but I prefer not to see it. But.... BUT.... That car is GORGEOUS.

Priceless!!!!

Only liked that because I feel your pain. When we get home from the grrrstore I am always amazed at what Mr. V managed to sneak in the cart.
Hehe. Im the one who does that to Mrs E. She just LOVES me for it!!! :D
