Hi and welcome! You wouldn't be disturbing us at all! We're a friendly, if not crazy, bunch of people, and would love to have you here.
Just got off the phone with Mrs E. CJ now has a slight fever of 99.4. Simple strep test came back negative, but there is fluid in both ears and more thats somehow visible in his throat. It looks like the double ear infection is draining, causing the cough. They gave him a mild pain killer and a quick round of antibiotics to knock the infection out, but cant give him anything more substantial, like a dose of steroids, because hes already had his allowed yearly safe dose. So now, she gets to call the pulmonary docs to see if they want to try to give him anything else.
Only liking that because it's not as bad as you thought it was going to be. Hoping he feels better soon!!
