Try moving the coils up and down a wee bit with a toothpick.

oh, and make sure the wick is not touching the bottom of the tank, the metal part in the middle or the post.

That is the depth of my knowledge on the subject. Sorry.

Moved the wires a bit trying to even out spacing, and hit it with 3.5V. Got a very fast heat-up on the same hot spot, then nada, and showing a short. Weird....

Rick did u get it? Turn down v or use a battery that's not full charged if no vv. u want to start off by removing the coil and wick carefully take scissor and snip a wee bit from both sides just enough to trim stray hairs, then u want to fold under the end. So think of rolling a umm cig with rolling papers when u get to the part to lick fold that under. It gives a clean edge down the side of wick. and if u have a torch heat red drip juice on it light on fire letting it go out by itself, repeat 3 times. Now carefully reinstall coil on wick and put back in Atty the bottom of wick in the juice can't touch bottom floor of atty adjust by pulling up a bit and snip if top of wick is higher then positive post. (I should spell check hmmm nope) now tighten neg or bottom of wick first making sure its under the screw so as u tighten it don't loosen or wrapped outside. Next adjust coils with tooth pic as even as poss starting on bottom working up when your on last loop again outside of screw take yor finger and get the wick as close as possible to positive post the tighten. Between pos post and wick put a small kink in the coil I take my nail and just put against coil and push. Soak it with juice tap button don't tap looking for a hot spot or vapor just tap like u were priming a old lawn mower tap tap tap tap tap it now tap it a little longer taap taap taap keep it soaked. Install cap there is a hole in cap that hole needs to line up with wick think u got AGA so u will need to loosen 1/4 turn, now put your finger over hole hold up pv and take a few dry pulls( sucking up juice into wick) let it sit a few min on its side. Vape if u get dry hit cover that hole and suck. The china wicks are tough to not pop hope this helps can someone edit for me? Typed from phone and no Spelling or such was checked. Hell I didn't even read it lol. Here goes!!!

Found the problem - the wire actually broke (or I broke it), between the coil and the positive post - was showing "OP" on the P-word. I need to get some wire. I'd be shooting for a coil in the 2.8 ohm range. Maybe 32-34 AWG and like a 5/4 wrap? Or...? Can you tell I'm totally guessing here? :)

Edit: I meant the WIRE broke between the...

What a weekend! TOO busy. Stayed at the shooting range with my ex-stepdad until 5:30. I did get my .22 semi-auto rifle back from him that he's been holding for me since....1995, I think. I found out that I can hit a 36" "gong" at 77 yards with my XD, but I couldnt hit crap with my .22 and a 4x20 scope on a bench. We ran out of daylight to get it sighted back in. Got to the inlaws about 6:00, and made it to the traffic waiting to get into the speedway's lights display by 7:00. We finally got home with three exhausted kids right at midnight.

Up at 7:30 this morning. Got Kat to Sunday school, then to Walmart to spend more money than we meant to. Back to church to meet the inlaws for children's mass. I am so proud of Kat. The lady that plays the organ said that she almost teared up when Kat sang her solo. Got back home, then the real fun began. Got out the chainsaw and trimmed the bottom of the Christmas tree to get it into the stand. While I had the chainsaw out, I decided to cut down EVERY holly bush that we had in front of the house. They had grown up to over the roof line, and if they had just been trimmed down, they wouldve looked like crap. So they all just came down. That means that some time in the next few weeks, I get to rent a stump grinder to get rid of them completely. Decided it was about time to mow the leaves. You can actually see some green in the yard now. Then came time to hang icicle lights. We just bought four new boxes. Two of them had about half of the strand out, so they get to go back. Maybe I can finish them up sometime next week. Came in, fixed baked spaghetti for dinner, got all three kids showered and put them in bed. ALL before 7:30. Turned on the Carolina/Atlanta game, and started cleaning the XD. That one never takes too long. But then came time to clean the .22. Until yesterday, it hadnt been fired since around 1995. It had been kept in a dry safe, so I wasnt worried about rust, but it hasnt seen oil or had any sort of cleaning either. If it moved on/in the rifle, it was stiff and gritty. It has taken me nearly the whole football game to get it back cleaned up and back together (which was interesting since its been so long since Ive done it). BUT its back together now and everything feels like its moving smoothly.

Now, Carolina is just less than a minute away from winning against the 11-whatever Falcons. Carolina's first win against Atlanta in six games.

*sigh* I think its time for ice cream!

Good Evening Posse.

Good morning to all of ya's!

Going to be an interesting day...I think I cracked a tooth and I'm a hurtin' cowboy. :/
Not good, not good at all. I hope you didn't crack your tooth! Hopefully you get your .... to the dentist asap and get it looked at Rick!
I just found the Jamesons again. I better have a nip, to make sure I don't get a sore throat, tomorrow....
Yummy!!! Don't drink all of it in one sitting now punkin!
Glad the pain has dulled a bit. Why does this kind of thing always happen on a weekend?

I do work 7 days, but not all day on Sat. and Sunday, just half days. Or 3/4 days... ok, sometimes all day.
YOU NEED A VACATION!!!

This week is gonna be a long one. I've got to take Dad to doctor's appointments tomorrow morning at 8am and again Thursday at 8am. Then I have to leave for New York Friday morning, turn around Saturday morning and drive to Pennsylvania and then get to drive home Sunday morning.
