Gooooooooood morning folks!
I was late getting to work this morning. I woke up on time, but the kids slowed me down. Then once I did finally leave the house, I got in the van and my low fuel light came on.
Just another day that Im greatful for having to be in an hour before anyone else. No one knows Im late.

You didnt run anyone off. Its just early. No one is here yet. Tiff has to run off to take care of the kids and Drott has to go to work. It stays kinda quiet in here until about 9:00 or so.

on another note i just ordered a metal detector .... found out a friend of mine owns land that had a civil war cemetary on it them since moved everyone from there but she wonders what treasurs might be left behind

My dad broke down and bought one about a year ago. I think hes used it so often he's almost got it paid for.
As long as he paid less than $5 for it! He has only found a few bucks worth of loose change.

That's too funny! I considered getting once a while back too, but then I looked at prices and even the cheaper ones are expensive and you know those cheaper ones probably aren't the best way to be throwing your $$ away.
I found a $200 nickel in my yard, sold it in town, and then that's what got me considering one. Luckily though I only considered it long enough to look around google and ebay for a few, then I put my wallet back ans saved a ton of money!

Well, practice sucked. Practice started at 7:30. By 7:35, Kat was puking on the sidewalk. I had to call Mrs E to come pick her up. It seems she picked up the stomach bug that I had two weeks ago. Then, it was almost 8 before the dude from the Rec Dept brought my equipment. On top of that, I couldnt use the outfield because "it was too wet". Half of what I had planned had to be done in the outfield. I have enough players for a very strong infield, and will have to put at least one strong player in the outfield. Unfortunately, that leaves 5 or 6 girls that dont look like they have ever played. Ive got at least three girls that try to catch with two hands, and let the ball smack their bare hands before they get the glove on it. Ive got my work cut out for me this year.
Thats because they SUCK. Unless you substitute bacon for the lettuce, the top with more bacon. And cheese.

Our palate is so similar it's disturbing. Except, I like a good salad. And by good salad, I mean lettuce, spring greens, carrots, chicken and ranch. Or a Caesar, no anchovies.

Ya, that's what got me curious, I do see all the good luck people have with them. But that's just it, you only see the lucky 1%, you don't get to see the other 99% who's detectors are sitting in the back of a closet collecting dust
I've only been vaping a few months, since December I think. Sadly I forget to write down a start date, so I don't even know how long I've been analog free
I meant to, and then just got so excited about vaping and enjoying the wonderful community that is ECF that I totally forgot about it until it was way to late. That first week or two was a tough one for me though, couldn't break that morning cig habit, but once I got past that it's been smooth sailing! 
No, I haven't had a chance to try Copper Creek yet. But, I do think Shatner's going to help me get a taste, need to PM him soon before I forget! Buttered Rum sounds awesome! I think Shatner said he was going to send a little of that Truely so I could taste it, so I think I'll get to try that one soon. I'm mainly into sweets and bakery items, but mostly fruits so far. I do like a good mint combo too, but not chocolate/mint, as chocolates taste dry to me no matter what usually. So mainly I've been on sweets and fruits, occasional nutty mix too.

Thanks, nice to start chatting with you all as well! Ahh, I can't remember now. It was a year or two ago, I found it in the yard and then looked it up on ebay and saw how much they were selling for. I think the main thing was the date and how old it was, it was pretty old but I don't remember how old (1800's I think)
Never happy with ebay's fees so I took it into the local shop, and they wanted to research so I left it with them thinking maybe I'd get more than I was asking. I tried to get $250, but we settled on an even $200. Some in perfect condition were selling on ebay around $400-500, but this one wasn't in the greatest condition, and those were going for 200-300, so I think I came out pretty good. Surprised me actually, I figured the smaller local shop would try to rob me blindly, but they didn't even try to low-ball me at all.
