The game got cancelled. The field is just too wet. But its been rescheduled for a day that I dont have a practice, so thats a plus.

So we all went to Walmart and picked up our non-Sunday odds and ends. Including my new bread maker! They didnt have the $50 one I was planning on getting. This one was $70. But I figured if I bought the $50 one online, it wouldve been close to $70 after shipping. Ive got all of the ingredients loaded in it right now and the timer set. If my math is close to correct, it will be done baking at 6am. And I'll be able to have some yummy bread and/or toast in the morning!

You are now on my blocked list. :glare:
:D You know you love me.

You know what they say about karma, right?
Im not too concerned with it. Its only a 30% chance. And its going to be in the mid 50's the following day. I just cant get over the temp swings we're having this year.

She lucked out when she got you. :)
Agreed. I got my first Rottie from a couple that lived in a row home with about a 4 square foot yard, and they both worked all day. The poor thing was put in the basement while they were at work, and tied outside to the porch railing with a 10 foot cable when they came home. :( She really loved being able to run around in my yard, chasing my Lab!

He's having a blast, I think I hid all breakables. It's new, so he has to see how far it can fly. We're just trying to stay out of the flight path.
I'm not liking the breaking, but flinging the flamingo sounds awesome! :)

*jealous* We had frozen pizza.
I'm stuffed. We went to the Chinese buffet.

Big cat rescue huh? Ummm big cats kinda worry me. Before we had kids Mrs G and I went to a bar that was supposed to have some awesome bloody marys. We were hanging out and next thing you know there was a cougar "playing" with a bar stool. If I was that bar stool I would probably be dead. That same guy that had the educational center was just arrested for his "pet" biting someone at the same bar. I'm not sure what it was, a baby tiger maybe. Just when you think you have seen the stupidest of the stupid...

Good morning. I echo what Tiff said. However, I crashed early last night, so I feel almost human this morning. I'm working at our satellite DC in Ontario this morning - about 15 minutes from home. I love doing that. Turns a 3.5 hour round trip into 30 minutes or so.

JD, that coop is so...purple.

Good morning all.

Im really looking forward to this beautiful day today. Probably in the mid-60's and sunny skies. And it was going to be a horseback riding day for Melanie. Until we caught her in a lie this morning.

We've got a practice this evening. Im going to start going over base running and sliding. Everyone always has problems with sliding. Most just dont like doing it. Some dont feel like the CAN do it. This should be interesting.

Well, I set up my bread maker last night. Right around 3am, I woke up briefly to the wonderful smell of baking bread. I went back to sleep dreaming of good bread in the morning. BUT.... It didnt work out so well. When I opened the lid expecting to see a gorgeous loaf of bread, all I saw was a pile of partially mixed and baked ingredients. My only guess is that the delay function is a BAD idea. The delay can be set as long as 13 hours. I had it set for about 5. But as far as I can tell, the flour soaked up all of the water, and once it finally kicked on all it did was mix everything up into a dry lumpy paste. Then it baked it. I set it back up this morning before I left for work, and it actually mixed everything into dough, and was on its second kneading when I left. Im fairly certain I will be able to have good bread for dinner. It depends on if Mrs E remembers to remove the bread to let it cool on a rack or if she just leaves in in the pan.

I'm not sure we're getting one this year.

Good grief, Victor has a wild hair. He's flying through the house throwing his flamingo. Somethings going to break in the hut....
We're getting a spring. One day at a time.

You REALLY need to keep a video camera on that dog.
