Ok, midterm exam down, final exam to go. I have been setting up new exams every term, since I have found that my international students tend to "share" information with each other between terms. GRRRR.... What they don't know is that I intentionally make the exams harder because it annoys me that they force me to do this.

I have carnitas simmering in a pot on the stove for tacos later.

My whole body aches. I don't think I've sat down for longer than 30 minutes all weekend. Every time I sit down I think of something else tha needs to be done. I just plopped down on the couch, but I just heard the washing machine go off, and I need to bake banana bread. I'm going to need a weekend to recover from my weekend.

Ouch, Sallie. I know what you mean...every time you go to relax something needs to be done. Time to let a couple of things slide long enough to take some "Sallie time". It's amazing how life goes on if a task or two gets postponed in favor of some needed R&R.

Yep, and this time of year I always seem to get an itch for some massive spring cleaning. About two hours into it I wish I had never started but it's too late to stop.

Pasta salad for dinner here.

I managed to get a couple of loads of laundry done, kitchen cleaned for the umteenth time, and pink firetruck lollipops made for the shower. The shower favors are now done and bagged. Just need tissue paper for the bags. Only thing left to do for the shower is to make pimento cheese finger sandwiches but can't do that til Saturday. I'll sure be glad when this shower is over. And it's a couples shower. Hubby was not amused when I told him he had to go too.

That sounds SO much like me. I'm not good with idle time.

Again, that's me to a T.

Honey white bread in the bread maker. check!

Banana nut bread in the oven. check!

2nd to last load of laundry in the washer. check!

Soap supplies in neat containers. check!

Newly organized pantry. check!

The carp from the hall closet and the neat soap supply containers sitting in the foyer waiting until next weekend to find a home. check!

My feet have given out and I've given in. I'll have to find time during the week to finish the closets. Although all this stuff sitting in the foyer is going to drive me nuts! Thank goodness I didn't start ripping apart the closets upstairs yet.

Hubby has to go to a shower?

Baby, or bridal? (Not that it matters to hubby, mind you).

Baby shower. It's his brother's and his wife's baby shower. Their first baby. They tried for 10 years.

Wow! I was already wiped out before I read your post, now I'm just plain exhausted.

Yeah, just like I was wiped out by reading what you did today. I think it was a busy weekend for the posse.

I wonder if FV found paint.
