good morning everyone! The pond is finally warm enough to feed the koi. They sure were happy to see me with the feed can, they were like piranhas.

Good morning. Decided to take a personal day. Need to get the Ducks and Geese to market. Cars getting inspected. Already got a call. Brakes are good but need 2 tires. I knew they were getting bad and planed on replacing all 4 in June. Soo doing 2 now and alignment. GRrrrrrr. The girls treats are in the oven. Suns coming out going to be a good day. Fingers crossed.

Its not that hard. I change the 4 I use everyday 1x a month. So not hard at all. Unless your one of those that likes to fiddle. Yes I can make my own coils but for 4-6 cents each pre made. I ask myself why should I. I do want to order some of the pre coils with out the wick just to try the cotton.

Afternoon Posse!

I had the joy of having a tooth extraction this morning. Then my dentist was having a hard time getting the tooth extracted, apperently my tooth really didn't wanna come out. He finally got it out & went you had a really long root on that one. Yeah, I figured something was wrong when you jokingly said maybe we should just leave your tooth in there. Anyways, when he was going down the list of what I can't do for 24 hours I asked about vaping, he said you should be fine to vape.

Hopefully everyone else's day is better then mine!

I'm gonna go find something to eat...Hubby made me 2 different jellos & 3 different puddings so I wouldn't chew on anything & get it lodged up in my empty hole.

I had to add a little more water than it called for...It just looked way too dry...

Playing made 6 loves today. First 2 went straight to the trash.I keep looking at the recipe thinking theirs no way in haities. but I needed and baked it. I was right. Made a few adjustments and the second 2 were eatable. The last 2 I did it my way. Soo that was the extent of my fun day. Almost forgot how much fun baking was.

See...There are people who appreciate what you do.I personally LOVE my post office people...I would even consider two of them my good friends...Enjoy it before everyone gets back. LOL...

The only time I ever had a dishwasher was when we lived in military housing. Only time I ever had a garbage disposal too. That would actually get my vote over the dishwasher. You pretty much have to clean the dishes before the machine anyway. But the disposal is most wonderful for getting rid of things that go fuzzy in the fridge!

So far it's been a sweet week! We had a customer give us a bag of Hershey dark chocolate, toffee and almond candy on Saturday. He always has 4 or 5 LARGE packages to pick up, and we all know who he is and go get them before he gets to the counter.

Today a lady that sells a lot of stuff on ebay came back after she had mailed her packages and brought us a box of yummy treats from the bakery. Assorted brownie, cheesecake, lemon curd, strudels... So good! BUT - Larry can't eat anything sweet, and Jim had already gone home, and Bill doesn't do any work so we don't share with him , so I ended up with 3 pieces after giving some to the dispatch guy, the maintenance guy and the postmaster.

If this keeps up, I might have to cut back on my Ben & Jerry's! 8-o

Dry socket...No one wants that....

My day started at 2am. My eyes popped open and I couldn't go back to sleep. So I made myself get up and do something constructive. I cut out patterns and worked on dog bandanas til it was time to go to work. We had thunderstorms until around lunch time and then it slowly started to look better outside. I'm hoping all the rain helped wash away all the pollen. I still feel a bit under the weather but much better than this weekend. Mainly all that's left are my sinuses are swollen and my left ear hurts and little bit of a cough.

Tomorrow I clean my sister's house and then I'm going to meet her for supper at a REAL restaurant. By myself! Hubby and Morgan are going hunting/camping tomorrow and will come home Wednesday.



We got your bad weather today. It was yucky! Sorry you had a headache. Hope you're feeling better.



I'm lazy and don't want to be without either one. I told the kids today that if they use it, they wash it. I washed all the stuff that was in the dishwasher last night and spent another 20 minutes getting the water out of the bottom of it. Apparently it died in the middle of the cycle. Hubby said he'll look at it tomorrow.


YUCK! I hope you're feeling ok now. I had to have a tooth extracted a few tears ago and the dentist made me go to an oral surgeon because the root showed in the xray as being really long. Dumb me didn't think to ask about smoking and I smoked like a chimney.....two days later I'm in the dentist's office with a dry socket. It was awful, just awful! *shivers at the thought*

Boy, is that ever an accurate typo!

And I almost forgot! I had a customer offer to give me a motorcycle lift! He and I were talking about bikes over the winter, and he said it's better for them if they don't sit on the ground. I told him thanks but I already have a lift. My bike and Andy's just don't sit well on it. The oil filter is in an odd place I guess, and I worry that it will get messed up with the weight of the bike on it.

O.M.G. !!! So I picked the sweet with the most chocolate. It's the gooiest brownie EVER, covered with the kind of caramel that would normally be found on a caramel apple, topped with walnuts, with chocolate drizzled over the top of all that! I think I am going to have to make a personal visit to this bakery!

I'm going to try a micro-coil build with cotton wick. I bookmarked a video for it, and it looks pretty do-able. Wish me luck!
