Yep. We're going to Daytona Beach for the week of the 4th. What makes it doubly awesome, is that youre close enough to make it a day trip! A long day trip, to be sure, but its possible!
I'd have to leave before the light of day to get there, paint, eat, and drive back home.
Sounds like a good excuse to get a nice quiet hotel room for a night.
Better make it the 12th/13th. I forgot I have to be back to work on the 7th

That would work too. And if she gets too crazy with the hatchet, I have concrete floors down there, so she cant hurt anything.
Its that time. Gonna head out and get my hairs cut. This white boy fro has got to go. It didnt look that bad with a three week beard. But since I shaved, it makes my head look like a mushroom or something. 
I really think it will be a mancave night tonight. Tomorrow will be busy. CJ has a football camp, then a birthday party. Then Im taking the girls to my brother's house. We WOULD have gone swimming, but since neither of them can get their respective injuries wet, they'll have to settle with watching me swim and playing with my niece.
After that, my brother an I are going to start watching some of the seven hours worth that he recorded of the Isle of Man TT. Youtube that. Its awesome. Then more of the same for Sunday, except my brother will be smoking a .... for Father's Day.
And y'all have a good weekend.

And what an exercise in frustration! The place Ian had told me to take it wasn't answering their phone, so we met over there anyway. There was a sign in the window "Closed until further notice". Even the gas station part wasn't open!
So we went to another place closer to his house, and they said they would call me tomorrow. Crossing my fingers now.

I'm ready to go home. Sadly, Mr. V is not. I think I'll go drape myself over the car and moan.
We're going to the in laws tomorrow night for supper and then Sunday my sister and I are cooking lunch for my dad.
It worked. He quickly finished what he was doing and we came home.
I'm sorry Mr. V isn't ready to go home, but that made me giggle.
We ate some green beans from the garden. Hubby sauteed them in bacon grease and they were sooooo good!
