I think my WeatherBug app is broken... It says its 32 degrees in Charlotte right now.
Today is supposed to be warmer than it was yesterday. We keep inching closer to 100 every day, but we arent forecasted to quite get there.
Its also going to be another day of not much time in the warehouse. As soon as I get a phone call from one of the techs, I may have to end up pulling a network cable for a customer. Its not supposed to be a difficult pull, but its still not something I want to do. Then its back into the field after lunch to put more node drops into our fiber network. As usual, the work that I need to get done doesnt matter.
In other news... Im debating on if I want to spend the money and reinstate my gym membership. Im still hovering between 40 and 45 pounds lost, and really want to drop another 10, but I dont think it can happen on diet alone. Im also going to try to convince Mrs E to go with me, but I think that snowball I sent to Satan has a better chance of surviving than her actually going though. Im still going to try.

It's already about 90 here. It feels suffocatingly hot right now. I just got home from a pita day at work. The dogs themselves were somewhat ok but the owner of one of them was a pain. Her dogs legs and ears were matted to the skin. The body hair was fine. She wanted an inch left on it. I explained the legs had to be shaved because there was no way to brush that out and if I left the body hair long and shaved the legs it would look like a chicken. She hemmed and hawed and decided to go with the chicken look. It was one of the strangest looking grooms I've ever done. And of course she said the matting just happened over the weekend. Do I look stoopid?? She didn't complain when she picked the dog up at least. I gave her forewarning. Then Jordan decided she didn't want to work today and had a lab to shave down. Her mom said she could do it but wanted me to show her how to blend the legs. Right as I was showing her, about three people decide to come in and she had to go help them. I kept shaving the dog and had it almost done by the time she got back. All that was left was a bath and nails. So she said she would just pay me for it.
Alex has an appointment in a couple of hours and I'm hoping hubby will take him to it.

We had quite the storms last night, power went out. Trees are down all over, and our driveway is washed out. ack, what a mess.
Hot, muggy, not complaining because it's not snowing. And work hut stays nice and cool so far, even without a/c.
