We're either having spaghetti or chili for dinner. It will depend on what the frozen mystery ends up being that I got out of the freezer. It's in the crock pot now.

Yep, today sucked. Now that I havent worked in the warehouse for three days, you cant walk without dodging boxes. Tomorrow might be a little better, but not much. Its going to start with an early morning meeting, back to the warehouse, then back for an early afternoon meeting, then back to the warehouse. At least thats the hope.
Dinner was leftover baked bird. It was good, but it wasnt what I was hoping for. I was hoping that the navy beans I started this morning would be done by the time I got home, but they werent. Now Im just hoping they will be done by bed time. It turns out, Mrs E never got the text I sent that asked her to turn them from low to high. They were still rock hard when I got home. Blech.
On a brighter note, I just placed a new CC order. Im bringing back a couple of classics. Blueberry Danish. Cake. Chocolate Chip Cookie. And and of course, House. Every order has House.

And Im still fighting for a Keurig at the warehouse. Douche Canoe is still trying (surprisingly), but the City GM is saying "They dont drink coffee at the warehouse, they dont need one!" Uh, if we had a Keurig, we would drink coffee!!! Sheesh.

Dont feel bad. It hasnt been an easy road for me to eat less. Its physically painful for me to not go back for seconds. Or thirds. And dessert.

Morning all. Looking like off on storms today. Good part of that is I don't have to water the garden.

First meeting is done. Now I have less than two hours to get some receiving done, then its lunch, then back for meeting number two. Its actually pretty funny. My manager keeps asking why such and such hasnt been done yet. "Because you keep sending me out into the field! I havent even been IN the warehouse to take care of anything. At all!" He said "Oh yeah. I forgot about that".
He also forgot that I was off Monday morning for my trip to the VA Hospital.
Weather is still hot and muggy. Still have softball practice tonight, if we dont get a popup storm or two. I was there for most of the practice on Tuesday. I had no idea how difficult it would be for me to sit quietly in the stands and not try to coach.
I know youre going to be closed next week, but are you gonna be hanging around here? Or are you gonna be seriously unplugged?
