Every man for himself night tonight. So ours was all odds and ends, trying to clean up the leftovers before they turn into science projects.

Victor snores so loud that he wakes himself up. Then he gives me the evil eye, like I did it.

The store was DULL today, that makes the day go so much slower. Glad we have a day off tomorrow, even if I do have to bake and do laundry.

Yep, I don't order anything fragile. Feathered feet are a no-no unless they will not be going outside, or you are willing to keep going out and drying off their stupid feet. That gets really old, really fast. So large fowl without huge combs are best. Last year we had the barred, eggers, speckled sussex, giants, marans, salmon favorelles and a few others. I forget offhand. The ducks were so much fun but OMG the mess....

Good morning!

The ducks are pretty easy, people love the cayugas for their looks and the Welsh Harlequins for their laying. The swedish are pretty birds too. The chicks are so darn hard to choose. I'm still thinking.

I'm baking bread today, one of my favorite things to do. Banana bread is in the oven, dinner rolls are proofing, and I'm tossing around the idea of a pan of cinnamon rolls. Decisions, decisions.

I've got laundry going right now. Morgan and I went and got groceries. I had a hard time finding low sodium stuff in the good foods. Found some soups and a few other odds and ends. Tried to buy fresh and very little processed foods. Lots of fruits and veggies. I also got four different flavors of Mrs. Dash. Hopefully one of those will be decent. The kids sort of helped me get the house straightened up when I got back. Morgan got tired and went to sleep in the chair half way through. Laziness is more like it. I'm done cleaning for the day. I have a few computer things to take care of but not until Apollo takes a nap. He's all in my lap and I can't get anything on the computer at all done.

Dinner was SOS on home made toast. Russ loves it and it's super easy. I thought about pizza, but it's a 28 mile drive to pick it up. Then the 28 mile mad dash home before it gets cold. We use one of those silver bags, but it's still not HOT when it gets home.

One load of laundry washed and in the dryer. Ugh, I'll have to fold it and put it away.

I haven't had SOS in a few years! Nom nom!

I found a surprise in the dryer, a wadded up piece of paper. Not a clue what it ever was, hope it wasn't important.
You'll have to make some Bamrz!

oops, almost as bad as leaving a tissue in a pocket.
