Have you guys been paying closer attention than me (not hard to do) to the new FDA Gestapo regs ? I probably should have been paying closer attention, but Government interference makes me sad.
I've been reading and watching some of the casts/shows with people talking about it, it's very sad. IMO, it's effectively banning vaping without actually coming out in the open and banning it. Even the huge companies are going to have trouble paying for the approval process if they have to do each and every nic level, PG/VG level, and different flavor combination. Plus to have anything remotely associated with vaping (cotton, tweezers, wire, batteries...) labeled and regulated as a tobacco product - it makes me very angry too.

Well Drott, since you asked...... :) I'm actually having to cook 2 racks of ribs in the OVEN !!!!!!!!!! OMG. I'm a low and slow smoker from waaay back, but due to heavy rains up here, can't keep the smoker up to temp, so I'm doing the blasphemous deed of cooking them oven style, but using Spanish smoked paprika, trying to make up the difference. If my brothers at bbqguru find out, I'll never live it down.

Sorry I'm late to show up today. Yesterday after work Mr. V and I decided to drive down to the big city and get the new fuel transfer pump for the dually. Anyhoo, we picked it up, put it in the back seat with Victor and decided to go home the long way because the freeways were hideous. And got hit by a drunk driver. We were in the right lane, he was in the left and he decided to turn right. Directly into a F350 crew cab dually. In broad daylight. How did he not see the beast??? He hit us so hard that it spun the truck, the box flew into poor Victor and Mr. V and I both got a bit banged up. And he took off. Luckily his car was pretty damaged, so he was fleeing on a flat tire and bent rim and the damage to his front end caught fire. He was pretty easy for the police to find and arrest. Yep, stupid drunk with a car full of booze. The irony is the fuel tank that we bought the new pump for is now twisted in the mangled box of the truck.

We both have to go to the Dr. and Victor needs to go to the vet to get checked out. He seems okay, but I'm not taking any chances with my boy.

So I'm still behind on messages, give me a bit here.....

OMG how scary. So Glad it wasn't to bad. But it sounds like it was bad enough. FV check your auto insurance. Mine covers vet bills if the furbabys are in the vehicle during an accident.

OMG!! Glad you all are relatively OK!
Thanks Bamrz! Actually the guy was probably lucky that he took off. Mr. V got out and looked at his truck and the look on his face was pure rage. At least he cooled off a bit before seeing the guy.

And it's probably a good thing that it was us. If it were someone walking, in a small car, or on a bike they wouldn't have made it.

Yep, she said he's covered too. Thank heavens we were in the beast and not in the witchdoctor mobile.

Wow, I'm glad you guys are OK !!!!!!
At first I wanted to say (I'm a FORD guy), who in the hell wrecks into an F350 dually !!!! ?????

That IS however the nature of the "drunk tard". Wow, because been there done that. Never fun, always a @$%^@#$% waste of your time, and just a totally unnecessary hassle. Last time I got "tapped" I seriously considered a .50 cal on the hood.

As long as we keep propping up the "tards" they WILL multiply. I'm very glad you guys are OK, and although I liked your post, I only LIKED that YOU posted, not WHAT you posted. I hope all goes well with the check ups. Tell Mr. V that I share his feelings. Will keep you in our prayers Maurine.

On a very small side note, the two racks of St. Louis came out very good. Used the tried and true 3-2-1 method, just NOT in my smoker !!!!!

3 hours baked, 2 hours foiled (Texas Crutch), 1 hour back uncovered with the last 5 minutes in broil mode... Never the same, but close enough.

Man, very glad FV and the Mr. are OK.....

Ribs, yum! I do have some in the freezer, maybe I should be thawing those out. :D

This one was still drinking sitting in the ditch by a cornfield after he crashed. The cops were taking pics and inventory, then pouring out bottles. They said they've been trying to catch him for ages for running people off the road, etc. He always made it home, car in the barn and hiding in the house before they got there. Not this time. They did say he'll never have a license again, and would be sitting in a cell for the weekend. He was so plastered it took two officers to help him get from his car to the back of the squad car. No doubt he never saw 8700# of truck next to him. Good grief. Mr. V still wants to pound on him a bit.

Leftovers for dinner. meh. I'll cook tomorrow. I also am behind on coffee beans, bread and pm's. oops.

Me too Bamrz. I'm glad he won't be out there this weekend, possibly hurting someone. And I think I'll bake some cookies for the responding officers. Probably not minions or hearts though. I need to figure out a nice thank you cookie. hmmm.....
