We keep bird feed in metal garbage cans with the lids on tight or we get mice too. blech, hate the little devils.

.I have to keep it in metal too, because of squirrels. Those boogers have chewed through my plastic trash can lids! I don't think I've ever been as scared as the day I went to take the trash out and when I lifted the lid, had a squirrel fly up out of the trash can!

Sorry I'm late to show up today. Yesterday after work Mr. V and I decided to drive down to the big city and get the new fuel transfer pump for the dually. Anyhoo, we picked it up, put it in the back seat with Victor and decided to go home the long way because the freeways were hideous. And got hit by a drunk driver. We were in the right lane, he was in the left and he decided to turn right. Directly into a F350 crew cab dually. In broad daylight. How did he not see the beast??? He hit us so hard that it spun the truck, the box flew into poor Victor and Mr. V and I both got a bit banged up. And he took off. Luckily his car was pretty damaged, so he was fleeing on a flat tire and bent rim and the damage to his front end caught fire. He was pretty easy for the police to find and arrest. Yep, stupid drunk with a car full of booze. The irony is the fuel tank that we bought the new pump for is now twisted in the mangled box of the truck.
We both have to go to the Dr. and Victor needs to go to the vet to get checked out. He seems okay, but I'm not taking any chances with my boy.

Was in Cincinnati all weekend still searching for a Kayfun anything at this point so I stopped in a vape shop.WTF? The dude told me not to even try to rebuild because it's hard to do..What? FV how you three felling? Sometimes the second or third day the stiffness soreness is worse. Don't ask but that's how it was for me.

Been a lazy day. Hubby was home but doesn't feel good. He went to bed early. I didn't accomplish much today except cleaning out and organizing the pantry and one lousy load of laundry which I didn't even manage to fold. I took the curtains in the living room down yesterday and washed them but haven't put them back yet. Morgan didn't feel good today either so we didn't do school. Hopefully all is back to regular routine tomorrow. Nothing exciting planned tomorrow either. Catch up on what I didn't do today. I did one thing I don't usually do today though. I cooked dinner. We had bratwurst, sweet potato oven fries, and cream corn. And of course I burned the fries a little bit. Oh well, they were still good.
