Mr. V sent you a friend request because he still can't see them. Yep, he created a stoopid account just for this.
It's really not that bad. FB, I mean. Just make sure you don't put anything important in it, and keep your privacy settings locked down tight.

Besides, now you can keep up with friends and family!

He has no info on the account, and I am positive he won't post on his page or anyone elses. He hates FB as much as I do.

Monday, ugh.

Mornin'.

I'm sunburned and exhausted.

The weekend was absolutely gorgeous. 70+ degrees, clear skies. Kat had a two hour practice Saturday. That was then followed with a "field beautification". The high school they practice at let's them use the facilities for a low cost, the coach asked all of his teams and their parents to help clean up. Raking, trash pick up, painting utility buildings, etc. We were there until about 4:30. We got home at almost 6. I shoved food in the kids' faces, threw them in the shower, and kicked them to bed. Sunday morning was tournament day. Up at 5:30. Kids are kinda cranky that early which didn't set a good tone for the day. The girls won their first game with a come from behind win. And lost the second game 2-1. Kat was the first to get a base hit, and the only one to score a run. After her second at bat (which she ripped a line drive to center field!), she came in to the dugout limping. She tweaked a muscle group in her back a few weeks ago, and that hit made it nearly unbearable. So, yet another afternoon at urgent care. Doc said probably just a pulled muscle, but no sports for one full week, and she has to ease back into physical activity SLOWLY for another two weeks. She's MAD about not being able to play softball or volleyball. I'm betting she'll get over it though.

So yeah. Busy weekend. Too much sun. I'm fighting to keep my eyes open while doing paperwork. And our internet just went down.

Melanie has practice this evening if the rain can hold off, but it doesn't look promising. They're calling for rain ALL week. Temps will be up, but that's the only consolation.

Well, I'm off to go piddle around until I can get my work done on line. Y'all have a good day!

Good afternoon. I woke up an hour late and have been dragging my behind all morning. I went to work but neither of my two dogs showed up so I left at 11 and went to the grocery store. Now I'm home and sitting on the couch wishing someone would come do my floors for me. I'm guessing that's not going to happen so I'll get up in a minute and do that. My gathering foot for my sewing machine came in today. Now I can get started on my skirt.

FV, how did they embroidery project come out?

Eggs salads made Yes yet another batch of egg salad.:lol: breads in the oven. Went with a new white recipe. The girls are still swimming in mud, Soo I'm thinking a load of pea stone for in the bottom of the run. Cant move them to the other run cause all the snow from the one shed roof piles up in front of it. So their just going to be mud chicks for awhile. GRrrr

I need to make some egg salad too.

Project is not done yet, I'm going to the eye doctor tomorrow afternoon and hopefully won't get a headache looking at the stitches then. *fingers crossed*

Mud, mud and more mud here. Our big run slopes down the hill, so I have to hang on to the wire when I walk out there. yeeks, what a mess. I'll add a few bales of shavings tomorrow night after work.

Trying to find a chiropractor for Jake. The things I do for these dogs......

While yall are playing in the mud, I've spent the last hour and a half on the phone with the cable company about our "high speed" internet service. We pay for a 15Mb service, but have been averaging under 3MB for a month. But, all is good now. I ended up talking to some guy in Tier 2 to get it resolved. He tried to make it sound like we had a problem on our end, but the speeds picked up dramatically after I got off the phone with him, before I made any changes to the wireless modem.

Time to go reheat some sketti's.
Yall have a good night!

Chinese takeout (delivery) tonight! :) I haven't done that in a long time - YUM! It's not here yet but I'm ready!

Sadly, it seems I need to check the water heater again. :( I turned it down below scorching, and now I barely need to turn the cold on to do dishes or take a shower, so something is off. I'm procrastinating because the temps have thawed a lot of snow, which means my basement has a bit of water in it. Nothing is ever easy.

Holy cow! I literally just called my order in, and they just knocked on the door - about 12 minutes!!! That has to be a record!

Ours did at the work hut. We're not paying to keep that big tank of water hot, just heating it as we use it. It takes about 30 seconds for the taps to run hot, but it works great. Supposedly the big one will be able to handle showers, etc. And I'm really hopeful that it will cut down the horrid electric bills here. They just keep getting higher and higher. Ugh.

I got ours on Amazon.

Good morning Posse.

Today starts our wet week. Temps in the 70's again, but its far from nice with the promise of rain every day through Sunday. My bike should be ready to pick up from the shop today or tomorrow, but it's going to have to sit there until next week.

Mrs E said Melanie's first softball practice yesterday was awesome. The team is pretty much the same girls from last season, and it shows. Melanie has apparently picked up the new ability to dive for a ball. Dont know where she learned it from, but she worked it like a boss! I wouldve been there to watch it if it wasnt for the stoopid cable company.

Kat has practice scheduled today. Not that she can actually participate in it. Normally, I wouldnt even worry about going (assuming the rain holds off enough), but there is also going to be a parent meeting after. I guess we're just going to have to wait and see how it goes.

After going to bed at 9:30 last night, I'm still frickin' tired. Im better off than I was yesterday, but Im still dragging. Even the coffee isnt helping enough.

I guess I better get to work. I hope everyone has a good day!!!

Nothing exciting going on here today. I just got home from cleaning my sisters house. I have an appointment at 1.I'm hoping I have the gumption to get up and do some sewing. I want to do it but just can't seem to make myself do it right now.

I ordered my new glasses yesterday. Got two pair for $55. Can't beat that. One is rimless and the other is wire framed. Can't wait to get them so I can see again.

Drott, sorry to hear youre having a suckie day. I hope it gets better for you soon.

Tiff, I still say you need to come clean my house.

FV, work has a nasty habit of getting in the way of nice days. Ive lost count of how many times Ive caught myself staring out the window wishing I was laying in a hammock with a good book at a pitcher of sweet iced tea.

So far, it looks like the rain is going to hold off for the most part. Maybe Kat's team will be able to get their practice in. We're going to make Kat sit and watch. :D Okok... I cant do that to her. If she brings her gear, I might let her catch for the coach if he needs it. But she wont be doing anything else.

Tomorrow, we're hoping to get to the gym. We still need 6 more trips each to get the reimbursement.

We're hoping we can get back to the old house this week and and least get stuff sorted through and ready to bring to the new house or put in storage. We NEED to get this done. Soon.
