Wow! I just tried something that worked better than I expected, and have to share! I was reading a link (can't remember where now) about the spice turmeric being used for pain management and other issues. My hip has been killing me the past week, feels like it was hit with a sledgehammer. :( I absolutely HATE taking Ibuprofen, but it's the only thing that has worked. Until now!! I made some "tea" about an hour ago, and after about 20 minutes I started noticing how much better I was feeling! :)

What I did was bring 2 cups of water to a boil, added 1/4 t. of turmeric, about 3 turns of fresh ground pepper, and simmered for 7 minutes. Took it off the heat, stirred in about 1/8 t. of coconut oil (you can use any fat, like olive oil etc) and let it sit to cool a bit. Strained it through a paper coffee filter and drank it.

Here's a link 10 Proven Health Benefits of Turmeric and Curcumin This will give you some idea of what it does. If you are on blood thinners or are diabetic, you need to be careful with using it.

I've never heard of Hypermarket. Sounds terrifying. I'll have to google it.

People here shop in their pj's and slippers way too often. I wouldn't even fetch the mail that way. Come to think of it, I've seen people dressed like that pretty much everywhere including the bank. When did not getting dressed in the morning become normal?

And no, I can't buy a pomegranate around here. Who would have guessed that?
Terrifying is a good word.It applies. It has a gas station...and some have a jewelry store inside them...That would have been too farfetched for Nevernear.Do people still go to Starbucks? No one was in the Starbucks area. These farmers around here aren't going to pay 6 bucks for a cup of coffee.I'm not either. They should have called me for advice..

I hope my Hyperstore has Tumeric.Every once in a while I get this shoulder ache that drives me insane. It may help restless leg syndrome..I have that too.I've had it since I was a kid.The medicine you take is Parkinsons medicine and it's too scary to take so I suffer.Something about oily stool.Who needs that? Thanks for the tip...

I refuse to like any post that references oily stool. Nope.

Starbucks has awful coffee. I like my local coffee shop, they make great coffee. I treat myself here and there. :)
My Daughter makes a great cup of coffee. She gets it at this place called Ollie's it's a junk store. Go figure.

We decided to stop at the bar for fish fry. I did not feel like cooking tonight.
That sounds good. I like fish if it doesn't look like fish.I prefer it in sticks...with a ton of salt and tarter sauce that way it doesn't taste like fish..
